Kitchen Knives

Hi all, I've got some kitchen knives which I no longer want. Does anyone know how I dispose of these, I presume I can't put them with my regular waste.

Have you tried the website for your local council? They can usually help with this sort of thing. Sorry I can't be more help!

if you have a local rubbish tip run by the council take them down there and they can safely destroy them

Tip will probably take them in the metal recycling part

Just make sure you don't get pulled over by the Police on the way!!

Alternatively, the police will sometimes take them to ensure they don't get in to the wrong hands, call your local force.

My mum asked the police about this. Apparently they are happy to take them off you, if you just drop them in at the local station.
