Lamb............Ideas needed please

Hi all. I have a couple of lamb shanks in the freezer and have no idea what to do with them. Can anyone help please?

Oh also some duck.

I had lamb shanks tonight.
I put them in a roasting dish with lid, put water with them and added an oxo cube. Cooked for 2.5 hours on gas mark 4. Was going to have cauli mash with them but couldn't be bothered so I just took some of the juice and mixed with a little xgum and made a little gravy.

Also had duck today lol - fried it in a pan with a little butter and had with some soy sauce - again should have had some veggies but didn't opps!
 
Okay spelling joy good it's xanthum gum - gluten free thickening agent have to whip it lots and it can go a little gluey but thickens up oxo really well x
 
Oh right i like thicker gravy my mum always did thin gravy so i am used to it but prefer thickened where do u get that gum stuff from? Xx
 
I ordered mine from the Low Carb Mega Store, but you can get it from Amazon I think as well, make sure you get the powder x
