Not that Im indecisive in any way, lol but I have finally decided once and for all that Im coming back to Atkins after this weeks wi on Friday.

Going to try to avoid the scales for at least a week if not more so that the gain doesnt get me down. Thats the theory anyway but whether I can do it is another matter. May have to get dd to hide the scales.

I was considering a m/e fast for the first week to minimise the gain but I think Ill keep that for when I start to stall. Other than that Im going to keep it as clean as possible and avoid any frankenfoods coz they just dont agree with me at all. Not only do I stall with Atkins bars, I cant even eat sugar free jelly or anything else with aspartame so not even going to consider adding them until Im at goal.

Wish me luck!

Thanks guys.

Shona I'd be very surprised if you didnt have an initial gain but if you don't stress about it it won't be long in disappearing.

I really want to get started but I cant afford to be in ketosis this weekend. Wonder if I could get away with it coz I dont usualy get into K until day 5. Maybe Id be better waiting until Wednesday.

Any thoughts guys?

Theres no doubt you will gain Shona. I came off Exante for 2 1/2 weeks after doing a very basic refeed and gained 3lbs which resulted in me jumping back onto Exante. Ive come to the conclusion though Id rather have the initial gain and eat real food than stick with it. The scales will start going down again if you just stick at it.

You've lost loads, Joanne, amazing. Was that all on TFR or did you do atkins first, then switch?

I'm sure you will. I've done much the same to get to the point I'm at, only with breaks of months instead of days between the diets.
