Well i had intended on going on slimming world but so far havent started it and instead i seem to be calorie counting which isnt something i enjoy doing.

I really need to write things down though which is why ive started a diary. Ive had 2 gains in my 2 weeks of dieting, so im either going wrong somewhere or the fact that im now doing exercise is playing a part in it.

Day 1 - Wednesday 6th June

Hi Laura

I would recommend setting up an account My Fitness Pal if you're calorie counting.
If you enter your stats and how much you want to lose it will give you an idea of how many calories a day you should be eating. It's also really
handy for logging your food.

Hiya, do you mind me asking what your stats are? As 2540 seems a high amount of calories for a female to consume daily to lose weight x

I forgot about the little tubs of pringles-Might have to get some for some treats, as me and hubby would have soon munched our way through a big tube-that way I can still have them and add them into my daily amounts ;)

Hi hun, i have days where i am starving too :) I have found skinny soups, I get them from sainsburys I find that they fill me up fairly well :) but not everyone likes soup, or wants it in the middle of June! :)

Thats what Ive been like today, soooooo hungry. Thankfully since Ive had tea Ive not been too bad. Soup is a really good idea, most veggie ones are low in cals and really do help take the edge off hunger. How many cals are in the skinny soups and what flavours do they do?

Laura, well done on cc so far. I noticed you said you'd originally thought about slimming world. Personally I much prefer cc, it lets me eat whatever I want as long as I stick to a limit. Good luck with your journey!
 
I'm not a big soup person. Think its because I used to always have it and got stick of it. I like the wonton soups I've been having though. 116 cals and it fills me up.

But thank you. Calorie counting seems to be working so far. Think I'll keep my slimming world books incase things don't go right with it then I have another option to go on

I like mfp, I keep track on there aswell as here and it's good seeing what I eat and I've been suprised at sone foods not being as much as I've thought

mrs CC I have only had the butternut squash one its 103 cals per 1/2 tub, also have a tom and lentil one in the fridge yet to try it its 105 cals per 1/2 pot. not sure what other flavours they do.

I am always cold so love soups :)

Laura glad CC is working so far, i always look at slimming world and think there recipes look yummy :)

things were alright until the last 2 days, i keep eating loads of sweets. Yesterday i had 200g of haribo milk bottles which is 500ish calories, and i had a few strawberry candy sticks. Today i went to greggs and instead of just buying a sandwich i bought a bag of 5 jam donuts and ive eaten 3 of them at 250 cals each. just threw the others in the bin. ive done alot of exercise today, 3hrs of walking which according to my fitness pal means ive burnt 1199 cals but i dont like using my exercise cals. Going to have to though as im now left with just over 400 cals for dinner and i think it'll come in over that.
