errr what other ingredients for burgers or chilli?

I regularly have my low fat mince as a burger... either as it comes or with a dry fried egg on the top... and a spoonful of fromage frais as sauce! You can even make your galette your "bun" :)

You can have small amounts of chopped fresh herbs and spices in attack.
So you can use garlic, chives, dried chilli, paprika, black pepper, cinnamon, fresh parsley, fresh basil, fresh coriander, curry powder, lemon juice, ginger....

The list goes on and on and on -
No need to deprive yourself of flavour!

I do a mean ginger and chilli burger ( and for the rest of the family I add a little parmesan cheese). Just go for it!

Hi,

My book says onions are allowed for flavouring.

I made burgers using mince, an egg, some onion and a little bit of curry powder.

I've also used some chilli in mince dishes for my attack week.

Hope this helps!

My book too :D

"flavouring"...; ie not eating, except in condiment portions.

Theres a recipe somewhere for rosemary meatballs, which makes pretty good burgers too.

Also meatloaf and mince frittata.

Enjoy.
