Really random i know but i was wondering if anyone else suffers with this just over the past few weeks ive been getting light headed when i stand up but now its more and more frequent and everytime i stand up.i feel like id be wastin the doctors time going to see them and wondered if the diet had anything to do with it. Ive been on it 15 months n 6 stone down so really dont know

Any advice?

If you're following plan properly, you shouldn't be light-headed - after all it's not a vlcd where you are not eating "properly". I'd say quite the opposite, in fact. Do go to your doctor - you won't be wasting his/her time. It needs to be checked out. IMO

Could be your blood pressure - perhaps make an appointment with your practice nurse to get it checked.

I agree , I have low(ish) blood pressure and if it dips I feel light headed and low energy etc. I'd go and get it checked.

I get light headed because I have iron, folate and vitamin b12 anaemia. you need a blood test!

Me too !!! I agree a visit to the docs is called for.

Just wanted to say that this happens quite often to me too. Like you I don't want to waste doctors time. Let us know what doctor says if you do go x

Hi all thanks for your advice! Ill be making sure i go to the doctors next week i have a job interview on friday and if i go any sooner to the doctors im worried they may take my driving licence off me and i need it for friday!

But have been looking on nhs site for any advice and a couple of symptoms i think could maybe be diabetes so think im wise to get sorted thanks again :) xx
