Lipotrim Day One.

So I'm somebody who has always stuggled with their weight and was a heavy child. At the age of 14 I decided to make a change and due to healthy diet and exercise managed to shift 5st taking myself from 17st to 12st.

It took me almost a year of struggling to maintain this weight and it has gradually began to creep up.

At 5'11 I had a healthy Bmi at 12 stone but now at the age of 19 (and after three months working abroad and indulging in Italy) my weight has increased quite rapidly to 14 stone.

Despite me being only slightly over the healthy BMI I would like to get back down to the weight I worked so hard for, however I have found it difficult.

I have also suffered on and off for the past 2 years with bullimia (which as you can see is not exactly helping me lose weight!), I find when I have a healthy diet and exercise it stops my need to purge food. This diet was recommended to me by a doctor because it is supposed to change the way you look at food. Fingers crossed this works for me!

My first day went Ok, I made the mistake of getting the peanut flapjacks which really don't taste great! I also had a small chicken soup explosion when I tried to shake the hot mixture..oh dear. Other than that I have filled up with coffee, at least I can still have my main fix!

Ooooh carefull shaking hot stuff.... mix it and then microwave!!!

Anyhoo.... welcome!!! Everyone on here is brill.... this diet isn't easy but its soooo worth it!!! We're all here to support you!!!

Thanks Deezer! Day two and It feels pretty bad. I had a bad night because I don't think I drank enough fluids yesterday so my throat was really dry! Also felt pretty hungry so found it hard to sleep.

Today for some reason the shakes just don't taste as nice as they tasted yesterday. Baked my chocolate shake this morning and that was fine, tried to mix my vanilla with coffee but it wasn't to my taste..it tasted too savoury to be with coffee! Then this evening I made my chocolate one as a hot chocolate and again it tastes quite bad but I'm struggling through it. Hoping the hunger gets better as the days go on! Fingers crossed for me!

It honestly does get easier.... Hang on in there!!!

With regards to the vanilla in coffee.... throw in a sweetner or two!!! Makes all the difference!!! Make sure its a tablet one not the granules!!!

STICK WITH IT i did the first week lost 18pounds made a blip at the weekend and i'm struggling to get back 100% so make sure not to give in cause its super hard to start again. wishing you all the will in the World! IT IS A BRILLIANT DIET

Haha I just logged on to read this. I've been walking around the city with all my friends and them drinking! Just walking round made me feel really hungry! Trying to fill up with some fizzy water. I can't wait to get used to it, I'm not used to feeling this hungry! Thanks for the support guys, this forum is definately helping! x

Hiya im on week one also started lunch time yesterday, so far so good, just keeping myself busy and tryng not to think about food argghhh! I guess if we want this enough we have to work at it, good luck hun xx

Hi Nicky, oh keep going it's so hard the first couple of days but I'm really starting to see the benefits! Ive been sneaky and weighed myself already but I'm keeping tight lipped till my proper weigh in on Monday! How are you finding it so far? I went out last night and had 2 vodka diet cokes, very naughty of me to be honest but I'm 20 and if I don't have my social life I have nothing! Looked on the scales and still lost a pound but I probably still wont do it in future! I'm too scared it wont work out so well for me next time. Good luck lovely! x

Be carefull hun.... Its REALLY dangerous drinking while in ketosis!!! Google it!!! : /

I'm afraid the lack of social life is something you have to live with on this diet lol...

But its not forever remember!!! : ) x

The way I look at the no drinking thing is that if you ate only going to have two vodkas ... What's the point ... That would do nothing to me so why bother, wait til you are at goal then have a night out on the Russian giggle juice xx

As previous peeps have stated its not forever ...you can still go out but be the one who can giggle at the other drunks ;) its much more fun ~lol~ and missing out for a few months to get to goal is SO worthwhile. Your doing well so keep up the great work x x x

So I haven't updated in a few days! Pleased to say I'm still plodding along. It's really cold in the North West today so I'm finding it really hard, this is usually a time when I'd be comfort eating!

Had quite a difficult weekend with lipotrim because my Mum doesn't really understand it! Still came through and discovered that the shakes are so much better with ice!

I didn't have an ice tray in my house so I made a point of purchasing one, it has completely changed my perspective on the shakes and I'm actually quite enjoying them!

Miss warm food but don't like the chicken soup or the chocolate warmed up :(. Still at the rate I'm losing weight it won't be long till I can have some solid food! Not craving bad food..just healthy food which is so good! I keep thinking about cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, strangely!

But most importantly, the biggest reason I came on this diet was to help change my relationship with food, as I mentioned above I've suffered with bullimia and find it hard when I put on weight to not go back to that. Previous to the diet I was having some of the old thoughts of purging and I can honestly say I haven't thought about it once and it's so refreshing to get out of that mentality! I feel really in control and I'm looking forward to eating nice healthy food! Thanks everyone. :rolleyes:

Your doing great hun, keep strong and drink lots and lots of plain water to aid your losses.... its soooo worth it.... Hugs xx
