    Hi guys I am new to SW this week so am probably making a few mistakes... please let me know if it looks like im doing something wrong... dreading my weigh in on wednesday!

    Ok this is my first two days... I warn you I have included everything!


    Day 1 GREEN – I drank water and ocean spray cranberry squash light

    Breakfast- Fat free fromage frais and summer fruits (frozen)
    Snack - one fresh pear
    Lunch – salad and jacket potato with fat free cottage cheese (salad was homemade with spinach, lettuce, cress, raddish, spring onion, sweetcorn, carrot, cabbage) followed by an apple
    Snack – 60g tinned sardines in tomato sauce (HE)
    Dinner – Mushroom with garlic and 30g light mozzarella (HE), slimming world chips, 2 eggs and baked beans


    Day 2 GREEN – I drank water, ocean spray light squash and diet coke

    Breakfast – One large pear
    Snack – Fat free fromage frais and summer fruits (frozen)
    Lunch – Jacket potato, salad and fat free cottage cheese (salad was homemade with spinach, lettuce, cress, raddish, spring onion, beetroot, sweetcorn, carrot, cabbage and an boiled egg) followed by a muller light.
    Snack – 2x alpen light bars
    Dinner- Quorn cottage pie with frozen peas – cottage pie ingredients -quorn, tinned tomatos, garlic, onions, mushrooms, potato, fat free cottage cheese, an egg and 28g of light chedder (HE).

    Fingers crossed I am doing this right

    Breakfast - Quorn sausages, beans, SW chips, egg, peas and 1tbs tomato ketchup (1 sin)

    Snack- 3 scan brans (HE)(found some after seeing posts on this site) with cottage cheese and cherry tomato's

    pommegranate

    Lunch - leftover cottage pie

    Ben and Jerrys mango berry swirl sorbet 80g - 5 sins

    Dinner leftover cottage pie and 2 baby bel (HE)

    Blueberries

    Total sins today =6

    Hi Lisa,

    Menu's look really good although I am not an expert on green, having not done it much. Can you not have 2 HEx's (2 A's and 2 B's) though ? I can only see 1 each. Have you just had the breakfast that you posted. Yum !

    Good luck. When is your weigh in day ?

    yeah me and hubby just had the yummiest breakfast, does not feel like a diet so far... makes me worry i will put on weight. I think i can have 2 of each of the HE but i was so full up by the end of each days.

    My first weigh in is wednesday evening and I am already worried, silly i know!

    That's good that it doesn't feel like a diet. It still doesn't feel like a diet to me nearly 5 months on. That's probably why I've stuck to it for so long. I intend to try and stick to it for life because I'm sure that's the only way I'll keep the weight off.

    It's not silly to worry about weigh in. I don't think that ever goes !! And also you don't yet have the confidence that you can eat so much and still lose weight - it's great. Fingers crossed for Wednesday.

    going to the cinema tonight... my friends are sure to tempt me with goodies... uh oh, i must resist!

    take some treats with you - bags of grapes, fruit, bottle of water or can of diet coke, there are a few chocolate bars that are low in syns - freddo frogs, curly wurly etc that way you won't be tempted

    what are you going to see?

    hi ive only just joined this forum, looks fab, so much going on here. im planning to start slimming world in the next couple of weeks, not so much a news years resolution but a total neccessity whichever way you look at it lol. your menu looks really good and its amazing just how much you can eat. just wanted to say when i go to the cinema i usually take a massive box of cut up fruits with so i dont feel so left out. good luck.

    I have a pot of blueberries ready! I am going to see the kings speech... Its the ice cream that will get me but apparently the mango sorbet (my fav) is 5 syns per serving but im worried just incase... i may ask them how much i scoop weighs... because its 5 syns per 100 grams. I am also having some of the left over cottage pie from last night to fill up before I go

    DAY 4 - drinks ocean spray light squash

    BREAKFAST- muller light with blueberries, eggs, quorn sausages, sin free hash browns (potato, onion frylight), mushrooms and baked beans.

    Snack - 1 scan bran with cottage cheese and sliced cherry tomatos (HE)

    Snack- Frozen fat free fromage frais & mixed berries with blueberries on top

    Lunch - SW chips and peas

    Snack - 2 babybels and 1 scan bran

    Dinner - quorn pieces, jacket potato, peas and sardines in tomato sauce
    (HE)

    Snack - Melon

    Hi Lisa,

    Hope all went well. I would encourage you to do exactly as you did which is to be prepared and try and see off the temptations eg taking snacks with you, eating just before you go, saving a few syns for the stuff that you really want/like. I try as much as possible NOT to feel deprived on this diet because those are the dangerous times for me. Of course there are times that I wish I could have the **** (insert the high fat, high syn food of your preference !) but mostly I manage to have a bit of what I fancy which stops me having loads more.

    Glad all is going well. I will keep my fingers crossed for your first WI.

    Thanks gail, and yeah it went ok... I can look forward to yummy sorbet at the cinema knwoing it wont use all my days sins, how cool!!

    Hi katoof, food is looking good. Just thought I would point out (if you didn't know) that the Ocean Spray light squash isn't free.

    Light Cranberry Juice Drink Cordial, diluted as directed , 250ml 1½ 1½ 1½ (copied from SW site)

    It isn't free as although it is light it still has sugar in... :eek:

    Day 6- green day – drank light squash
    Breakfast – large pear and some melon
    Snack- fat free fromage frais and miex summer fruits
    Lunch -Jacket potato, salad and fat free cottage cheese (salad was homemade with spinach, lettuce, cress, radish, spring onion, sweetcorn, carrot, cabbage ) followed by a muller light. Followed by an apple, a Satsuma and a muller light
    Snack- 2 x baby bels and Hi FI bar
    Dinner – quorn curry and Bombay bajis (from sw green book) with rice

    thank you, 24.5 hours to go... I am going to the gym for the first time in years tomorrow ( i joined yesterday)... think my weigh in will give me lots of motivation to work myself hard..
