Little Help working out cals please

Could someone offer me a bit of advice about working out my calories please? I tried using the above sticky (which is great by the way) to work out my calorie allowance but it only gives you options for people with a BMI of 26 and up to work out the deficit. My BMI is now under 24 but i still have weight to lose so i'm not sure how much to reduce it by? I do have access to my fitness pal but no matter what weight i've been it always says 1200 calories a day? Am i doing something wrong? Can anyone help. I feel like i'm missing something.... And its bound to be something really easy!

1200 cals is the minimum recommended amount regardless of your weight which is why mfp won't put you any lower as you won't be eating enough.

What have you been on to get to bmi 24? Has your weightloss stalled?
 
I suspect you've got MFP set so that you'll lose 2lbs a week. Change it to 1.5lbs a week and you'll get more calories. This has been my setting since day one and I generally lose between 1-3lbs a week. :)
