However after seeing a physio I have been told what exercise I am allowed to do and shall see if it helps any.

Just wanted to let you all in on the treatment I got from some of the people on the healthy eating forum! I was looking over my threads today and found 1 women had pursued to ask me why the healthy eating people are unfriendly? The said basically that I shouldn't be on there due to my lack of writing posts! I agree with her saying they are unfriendly she only proved that more! She is also correct that I should continually post to stay in track... Just could have said it in a nicer way!

It bugs me a little when some people think that constant posting is required to be part of some "in" club. Everyone is entitled to post according to their own needs/ time available/ in a single thread or several etc etc. Posting as and when you need to does not make you unfriendly or less in need of support or less supporting of others.
Each to their own, I say. So Lauren, post according to what suits you and don't worry about other opinions.

Agreed Molly. There are some strange practices that go on on some of these sites. Whilst most people are so friendly and supportive...some are quite territorial and clicky (something ive always hated) sometimes i was ostricised because i didnt have a huge amount of weight to lose, and other times because i didnt post 100 times a day..but i just use the site as best fits me, because at the end of the day that is what it is there for -for me, for you, no one else but the individual.

Ive.l found the healthy eating people the most supportive and friendly!...and slightly less reliant on the site because most are in a semi maintenance phase / less extreme diet phase. When i was on cambridge the site was a huge crutch for me, now it is a more social thing, so dont worry - we cant please all the moaning mims! :) xxx

Today's menu...
Breakfast- muesli with banana and yoghurt
Snack- nut and seeds mix
Lunch- left over pasta from yesterday with some salad.
Snack- 1 ginger nut
Dinner- chicken casserole with green beans, pepper, new potatoes and 2 small Yorkshire

That is terrible Lauren. I have found some diet sites can be quite frightening. It is up to the individual to post when they like. I tend to obsess about food so it suits me better not to post my daily food consumption. I also think there can be too many 'experts' on the internet who try to push their views on others.

I know malteaser there's just no need for it!
I find that I'm often to busy to post when on a placement or at uni full time. Just so happens that now I'm luckily getting a bit of time off to be able to check myself in check a bit more!
At times some people jus need to concentrate on themselves and not put their moody opinions around everywhere

Hi what did you do to your shoulder? I've just been diagnosed with a slab 2 tear of the shoulder.. Having an opp end of Aug.. The specialist said continuing with using kettlebells would be good for me as long as none of the movements hurt, so I don't do any movements above shoulder height. I do a kettlercise class 3 times a week (normally) they are great workouts - burn loads of kcals, def tones your body all over :) My injury comes from an injury I did 27 years ago and has got worse with time, also just didn't realise it wasn't "normal" to have the levels of ache/ pain I had in my shoulder lol

I have torn a muscle for the second time and it's been like this for a whole thought steadily gotten worse! As it a tear and movement could cause it to retear so I've been told to reframe from most exercise types bar swimming and walking! I used to run but that really hurts. Infact it hurts all the time but the gp is now saying its going to be life long it's not about it getting better it's about management so I've been told to do Pilates to sort posture and strengthen my core. I asked about ops they said it wasn't in place they could operate

That's a shame, just take it easy, I am assuming you are getting physio for it? I'm sure it's making things difficult for you normal life and for your studies..

I am but only in the form of advice and exercises to do for it. Im going to attempt to find a place to massage it and see how it feels after a couple of those. I mean im used to the pain now it more just annoying that i have to put up with it and they wont perscribe me anymore pain killers not that i want to rely on them but would like them as a back up!

Hi ladies
Today's going to be tough!!
I'm going to a festival and as you can imagine the food choices will be burgers, hot dogs and not a salad leaf insight!! I'm hoping to go outside of the festival for dinner but you never know what will happen at these things!!

Take it as an 80/20 occasion. This is the day this week you cut yourself some slack and enjoy it. You can pull back for the rest of the week. my motto is to not let a bad half or full day lead to a bad few days or full week. Getting back on track quickly is the key to success.
