This is called my EE food diary but I mostly do Red days now - just can't change the name! :D

Wednesday 02/02/11


Breakfast
2 x wholemeal Nimble bread (HEx) toasted with 1 x microwavable snap pack of Heinz reduced sugar and salt Baked Beans (Free)

Lunch
Super Speed Soup

Dinner
Spaghetti Bolgenese made with Quorn mince, 1 carrot, 1 onion, some garlic, a tin of chopped tomatoes, some oregano, and 2 beef stock cubes, topped with 28g cheese (HEx)
Side salad (free)

Snacks
4 x Laughing Cow Light Triangles (1.5 syns each - total syns 6)
2 x Satsumas (free)
5 x Wafer thin Turkey Slices (free)
1 x Lindt Chocolate ball (4 syns)

Drinks
Coke Zero

Ok, I entered once and have neglected it since, so here goes!:

Friday 11th February 2011

Breakfast
None - I was off on annual leave and had a looong lie in (Bad, I know...)

Lunch
Bowl of Super Speed Soup
3 x Laughing Cow Light triangle (Part of HeA)

Dinner
Chili Con Carne made with Quorn, tinned tomatoes, chopped onion, red and green peppers, a red chilli and a green chilli. (Free)

McCain Rustic Oven Chips, 400g (10 syns) - totally messed up here, was under the impression that these were 1 syn per 100g, but that is the uncooked/raw value! :(

Total Syns for the day - 10

Not one of my best days, due to the fact that I had no breakfast and didn't have any HeB at all.

3 x Quorn sausages and 1 x egg, all fried in Fry Light
2 x Nimble WM bread, toasted (HeB)
1 x Snap pack of reduced sugar and salt Heinz Baked beans

Lunch
Large bowl of Super Speed Soup
Half a pack of Tomato & Herb Pasta n Sauce

Dinner
Oven baked cod loin - I baked this in tin foil with a little lemon, red pepper and onion, served with green beans and SW wedges, with a home made dip (ff natural yog, garlic and herbs. (Pic below)

Snacks:
Smash Pizza with Cheese (HeA) and tomato

Tesco Light Choices Chocolate Mousse - 4 syns

Total syns for the day - 4

3 x Quorn sausages with a snap pack of Heinz Reduced Sugar and salt Baked Beans

Lunch
Leftover Chili Con Carne (from Friday night) shoved a lot more cayenne pepper in to make it hotter, then put a large spoonful of fat free fromage frais on top, along with Low Low cheese (HeA)

Dinner
Bowl of Speed Soup

Snacks
Slice of white bread grilled with 28g Low Low cheese, onion and Worcester sauce (5 syns for the bread, 4 for the cheese)

Cadbury's Caramel biscuit - 3.5 syns

Total syns for the day - 12.5

Large bowl of Super Speed Soup

Dinner
A salmon steak pan fried in Frylight with onions and cucumber, mixed with some fat free natural yogurt, served with mashed potato (with a splash of milk from HeA) and mixed veg (peas, peppers and green beans)

Snacks
2 x Laughing Cow Light (rest of HeA)
2 x Cadbury's Caramel Biscuits (3.5 syns each)

Total syns for the day: 7

No HeB today as my cupboards are bare and have not had a chance to go to the shop :(

Lunch
Bowl of Super Speed Soup with some chicken mixed in it

Dinner
SW quiche with red pepper, onions and spring onions topped with a sprinkle of cheese from HeA, served with 3 tablespoonfuls of pasta with a home made creamy sauce made from fat free fromage frais, some passata (1 syn) chopped onion, garlic and herbs.

Snack
1 x Kinder Bueno Egg - 3 syns

Not even going to attempt to guess how many syns were in that little lot, so I'm just going to write today off and do Success Express between now and my weigh in on Wednesday to ensure I don't go too far off track.

Awful day today as I was out of the office all day and only got home at 9pm tonight...

Total Syns for the day - I'll just put this as the full 15 because I got the baked potato from a restaurant so goodness knows how they cooked it, but I tried to play it safe by only eating the flesh and throwing the skin out.

Ok, so back to normality today. Had my weigh in tonight and surprisingly, despite my erratic eating over the last week, I managed to lose 1.5 lbs and get my 1 stone award.

Lunch
Speed Soup

Dinner
Chilli Con Carne made with Quorn mince, peppers, onions, grated celery, Cayenne Chili Pepper, Paprika, and tinned tomatoes - served with a little bit of pasta and 42g Low Low cheese sprinkled on top (HeA)

Snacks
Birthday cake had been brought into work, it was a sponge cake with cream and jam in the middle and covered with icing. I had a tiny little slice of this, no idea how many syns, so I'll make a generous guess at 10 syns.

Thanks Roisin :D Yeah I thought the passata was free, but I happened to look on the back at the ingredients one night and noticed it had olive oil in it - so I double checked for that particular type of passata (it was from asda) and it had syns in it :(

Bit of a samey food diary today as I had my Chili Con Carne left over so didn't want it getting wasted.

I know that I do Extra Easy, but looking at it, today and yesterday were more like Green days, which is a bit confusing, because I then did not have 'enough' healthy extras, so does this mean I have to syn the two slices of wm Nimble bread I had???

2 haddock fillets, roasted butternut squash, asparagus tips.

Lunch
Baked Potato (rest of HeB) with 42g Low Low cheese (part of HeA) cottage cheese and tuna.

Dinner
Omelette made with 3 eggs, 42g Low Low Cheese (rest of HeA)red pepper and onion. I level tbsp of ketchup (1 syn)

Cracked black pepper chicken and salad made with spinach, radishes, cucumber, red pepper, pickled onions, spring onions, red onion and feta cheese (HeA) and a little bit of fat free fromage frais.

Dinner
Steak, SW wedges (rest of HeB) and onions fried in Frylight
2 tbsp of Ketchup (2 syns)
