I've had a rocky start to my 5;2 campaign but I'm finally getting somewhere. My problem has been that i've been overeating on my feed days, badly overeating. So much so that in two months on the diet I gained 8lbs! I realise I can't eat what is a 'normal' portion for me as eating that is what got me to obese in the first place. So instead i worked out my TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) online and have been calorie counting so that I meet that on feed days. As a result I've lost 6.5lbs in the two weeks I've been doing it - hurrah! Obviously it's not ideal to be calorie counting but once I get used to these portion sizes i can start to relax a bit. Just really pleased it's working for me now.
