As a newbie I thought I'd do my food dairy on here so if I'm doing it wrong I'll be told:) I don't have too much to lose but my eldest DD has around four stone to lose and she is the main reason I decided to bite the bullet and get all the family eating habits back to healthy. Am starting from today.

My HXA is always skimmed milk.

10/7/2010
Breakfast:
1 Kelloggs Fibre Plus bar - HXB
1 banana
bowl of raspberries, blackberries and blueberries with an Activia fat free blueberry yoghurt poured over it.

Lunch:
2 egg omlette. I filled the omlette pan with mushrooms, 1 large tomato, 1 slice of ham and a light babybelle (2 syns) first
Muller light and loads of red grapes
(I'm stuffed - oops)

Late snack:
4 crab sticks

Tea:
1 poppadum with onion and mango
Chicken tikka starter size with salad and a small amount of pilau rice
small piece of garlic naan

Snack
Curly wurly (6 syns)

I'm not sure on the syns of this but I would normally have had 2 vegetable samosas and more rice and naan so it feels good not to have done that.

Thanks :)

Yes on the whole she will be. Her problem is when she's at her part time job waiting on. She gets meals but often as odd times plus the chef is a fantastic cook and like me she has a sweet tooth. From what she's said though shes had red snapper, carveries with salad and not eaten his creme brulees or other calorific puds either. Being 19 though she knew best  and didn't weigh herself when we started it on the 1st July. She has done now. She definately looks like shes lost a bit though.

Good luck to you both, you've certainly made a good start with your menu. Send her in with a copy of the SW diet for the chef to inspire him to make up some special "SW options" for her.
Thnaks Donna:) Do you know if it's possible to buy another copy of the main book you get in your starter pack from the C?

Can anyone give me an idea of what syn value I should put down for the chicken please. I've already had my HXB and used 3 slices of granary from an 800g loaf for the breadcrumbs. I've had less than 1 chicken breast. I used 3 chicken breasts in total. Thanks:)

Thanks again Donna:) I forgot to ask about the book! I only lost 1 lb this week and was a bit peeved but being positive it is 3.5lb in two weeks. The main thing is that I just feel so much healthier already:) My DD has also lost 2lb but I know she's not been following it 100%
