Lovely cake!

Made this yesterday and its the best cake substitute I have had!

1 cup bulgur wheat( or couscous)
FF yoghurt 1 cup
Fresh cherries 10 (not glace)
Sultanas half a cup
sweeteners to taste
vanilla essence
2 eggs
Pinch of cinnamon

Ok prepare the bulgur by putting in a bowl. In 1 cup of boiling water, place your sweteeners( i used 5) and a few drops of van essence, add to bulgur, then leave the bulgur to fluff up.
Meanwhile chop the cherries, and add them to the FF yoghurt. Leave till the yoghurt goes purple.
When bulgur is ready add the 2 beaten eggs, cinnamon, yoghurt cherry mix and the sultanas.
Place in a microwave bowl and micro for 10 minutes, leave a minute
then another 5 minutes.
I lined my cake tin with paper but dont think its necessary as it didnt stick.

Reckon you could use a muller lite, i just cant buy them here. And if you want it mega low syn, use less sultanas :) Im thinking you only need to syn the sultanas as the cherries in this are fresh not glace :)

Sorry to bear bad news but you would also need to syn the bulger wheat/cous cous as it is being used as a flour substitute (5 syns per 28g)

And also the cherries as they are being cooked and yes of course the sultanas which are fairly high in syns
Yeah if I count 'a cup' as 240g:

1 cup bulgur wheat = 43 syns
Fresh cherries 10 = about 2 syns cooked
Sultanas half a cup = 17 syns

So total 62 syns or about 10 syns per hefty slice :(
Good Lord! Have just passed out and picked myself up!!! ARRAhghhhhh didnt know about the flour thing! Oh well u learn something new everyday!

Guys can you help me out here...
i based my recipe on other couscous cake recipes on here...they dont seem to syn their couscous...or am i missing something...
I didnt grind it down or anything to make it like flour.
Let me know cos am now panicing!
ignore me- i see that it used to be ok but is now synned! Gulp!
