I have found a recipe for a chocolate cake and it looks great and I fancied treating myself. It says that the recipe serves 8 and works out at 180 calories per serving. Not that bad syns wise (as a treat) I know, but I was wondering if I changed some of the ingredients how the syns would work out?

    Here is the recipe.

    • softened butter , for greasing
    • 3 large eggs
    • 85g caster sugar
    • 70g plain flour
    • 1 tbsp cornflour
    • 2 tbsp cocoa
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • 1 tbsp strong black coffee
    • 100g light soft cheese
    • 100g 0% Greek yogurt
    • 2 tbsp icing sugar
I was thinking of changing the caster sugar for canderel, the light soft cheese for Quark and using frylight instead of butter.

Does this sound ok? If so does anyone know how it would affect the syn value? Any help or ideas would be very much apreciated! x

Not sure if I've posted this in the right place because it's a recipe, but also syns???
