Chocolate Cake

4 ½ syns total. If using scanbran as healthy extra b choice count as 2 syns

5 scan bran – 2 ½ syns or 1 ‘b’ choice
3 beaten eggs – free
Chocolate options-2 syns
Orange essence 1 cap full-optional
1/4 mug sweetener – free

Method

Mash and moisten scan bran with boiling water. Whisk egg whites separately. Add all the other ingredients, and then fold in egg whites,

Then put mixture into bowl. Place in the microwave on high for 5 mins.

Serve when cooled down, with feet up in front of the telly and away from the kids.

You can replace the orange essence with vanilla and use ooh la vanilla option. Works well with any flavour.

yum sounds lovely have added to my recipe books...
what confuses me is when it says 4 mugs of sweetner, surely you should use a few tbsp not mugs? is it an american recipe because i know they use mugs

oops, sorry. My fault. It's actually 1/4 mug of sweetner. Not sure what size mug. The original recipe says 1/2 a mug but the friend that gave me the recipe said it was way too much and 1/4 should be fine.

you use the whole of the eggs.

I used to make this and it is yummy, need to make it again, so easy and doesn't take many ingredients or time.
