Hi everyone,
Just wondered if anyone with an underactive Thyroid has sucessfully done Lipotrim and kept it off? I am soon to be seeing a hormone specialist who when I mentioned LT said "dont do it" as it can stress your body - my problem is I struggle to lose weight following a typical healthy plan and exercise - I have 4 stone to lose and I am wasting the years away not doing the things I love so I am thinking of just going for it. To start with I am just have 2 LT shakes a day and 1 main meal as I have alot of events coming up over the next few weeks which is dificult to get around but after then I will do the 3 shakes a day. Any advice would be appreciated - good luck all xxxxx :)

Me too. I have underactive thyroid and have also never been told not to do it. It is perfectly safe to do, doesn't make a difference at all. Go for it xxx

Hi kaci
I also have an under active thyroid , which was diagnosed after the birth of my son who is now eleven . Like you normal calorie counting etc never worked for me , a friend of mine done lipotrim last year and she lost 2 stone in 6 weeks . I told my gp about this diet ,and he knew the chemist that was doing lipotrim in my town. I started on lipotrim on the 7th of nov 11 , and after taking a break over Xmas for 3 weeks I have lost 3 stone to date.my gp tested my thyroid levels and he said they were good i hope this helps you decide . O by the watt I am on 175mcg of eltroxin and I have had no side effects
All the best

I also have an underactive thyroid, and have maintained my loss (over 10 stones) since June 2010. When I visited the pharmacist for the first time she said that it is fine to use Lipotrim with the condition.

Hope this helps

Thanks Hun. I just had two maintenance products and an evening meal over Christmas but I did have some extra treats over Christmas too though. I'm doing that now as well. Couldn't face TFR any longer :-( I followed the refeed sheet with regards to the meal so for example, days one and two is only protein and veg/salad and didn't introduce potato until day 3 but now I just have a healthy, balanced evening meal with the two maintenance products in the day. There is room for flexibility though cause sometimes I meet my friends for lunch so I have my meal then instead or the odd occasion I've had 2 meals in a day. Obviously weight loss isn't as fast this way but as long as I'm losing then I'm happy with that. :) xx

I've got an underactive throid too. tried everything so i'm hoping this will be the final diet I try. I started this morning so not really felt anything yet. You guys have lost so much. Well done!

I am also coming to end of day one... body telling me when i need more water as a headache threatens but apart from that i feel ok. This time the weight is gonna go despite the underactive thyroid....xxx

Have woken up on day 2 feeling great! No hunger, just had first shake at 10 to 11 because i thought i should. Feeling lively and ready to get a day closer to the new me!!!
