Maintenance Wk3 WI

    Down another 2lbs on the lt maint plan of 2 maint + 1 meal. Going to replace the brekkie bar for half the wk and have porridge/weetabix instead and will see how next wi goes.

    Thats a great result Bindi. Are you snacking at all on fruit or raw veg. I'm on day 2 and cant stop thinking about dinner.
    On the maintenance diet do u go into ketosis at all or is the weight loss due to low calories. How much water are u getting in.
    Also can u drink wine or vodka on maintenance. What about diet drinks???

    Iv been thinkin about my ultimate goal weight and id like to be 10st bang on!
    Everyone i say this too looks at me lik :eek: are you crazy but it is up to me...
    Id like ta do it thru maintance lik your doing but my chemist dont want me to go below 10 and a half stone!

    Hi Teg,
    You are not in ketosis while on the maint plan, the bars etc keep you out of ketosis so you are able to drink alchol on it. I havent drank much at all, only had couple of drinks while on hols(peach snapps and diet 7up at that). You see Im a beer drinker and as we know beer is laden with calories even though its the lite variety I normally drink. Will be on beer this wkend as Im away on a hen so expecting weight gain next wk due to food and beer but I dont mind I know I will get back on track next wk. Im not snacking much at all, an apple maybe, or some nairns oatcakes or Im having a special k bar as a treat after my dinner if my dinner is very very low fat or if I dont finish it (average portion). Im drinking between 3-4litres a day, find if I drink a litre before brekkie (bout 10am) Im set up for the day, another one between brekkie and lunch, another between lunch and dinner and a final one in the evening as I sit and read up on whats been happening here. Think you can drink whatever you want on maintenance but lt advisor told me that spirits are the lightest with a low cal mixer...beer being the worse.

    So -2 a week is very good so. Much the same as weightwatchers. I want to be 11.7 by Sept for going back 2 work and have a big family wedding

    Ye chemist told me I can lose 2lb a wk on maintenance so she was right!
