I'm trying to vary my HEX's as much as I can this week.
For breakfast today I had 28g Fruit and Fibre. It looks absolutely nothing in the bowl but I added half a large chopped banana AND as you get a scan bran with the F&F, I chopped the other half onto the scan bran. Left it a while to make the scan bran a little softer and have just thoroughly enjoyed this with a coffee.

So, that 28g may not have looked much but I've made it go so much further and have made it into a 2 course breakfast.

If your B choice includes a scan bran or ryvita, make the most of it :D

Anyone else stretch out their HEX's?

one of my faves is 6 ryvita wholegrain crackerbreads and 5 laughing cow lights.
i have this as two sep snacks(eg 3 ryvita each time and half the laughing cow) and chop an apple with it.
very yum, makes the extra fruit up to make it my third and feels like im eating lots!

I stretched out my mince pie HiFi last night by warming it in the microwave, placing 2 apples (peeled and sliced) in the bottom of a bowl then crumbling the warm HiFi on top, then making a brandy cream with quark, sweetener and a tiny splash (not even half a teaspoon, so not even 0.5 syns) of brandy to make a brandy cream. It was GORGEOUS and filling too :)

I make a yummy chocolate beetroot cake, using 42g of All Bran. It makes 8 slices, so each slice is just 1/8 of a HEX. I can have 2 slices during a day for just 1/4 HEX and that leaves 3/4 for something else!

I'm always up for making the healthy extras go a bit further. I must buy some scan bran, actually. I'd like to have fruit and fibre for brekkie, but 28g of anything never seemed a big enough bowl-ful to me, so I like that idea a lot.

Prunes are one of my favourite foods and i could eat them all day long, shame about the consequences as they are sooo yummy!
