i bought some Rowse manuka honey in sainsbury last tues and started taking it on Saturday. Checked BG an hour after taking it this morning (3am, don't ask lol) and was surprised to see it was only 7.0 I expected a reading twice that. Says on label to maintain optimum health some people take a good teaspoon half an hour before a meal. i'm gonna take a tsp regularly and monitor BG and also read up on health benefits.

That's very interesting Lynn, let us know how it goes. Eating honey at 2am? A little strange but we love you anyway!
