Hi

Hope you are ok,

your food is a little light on fruit and veg, maybe drop something like the wheat crunches/crisps and have a couple of pieces of fruit instead?

Oh i didn't mean to come across as negative critisim more contructive if anything, its just that I always stuck to my points but didn't eat much fruit or veg and waste a lot of my points on "junk" food and I wasn't losing weight, just the odd half pound here and there, I faced the realisation recently that I just needed to make a few sacrifices here and there and incorporate more fruit and veg into my diet hence why I have changed to Core.

Obviously theres no gaurantees that that will work either heehee!

Thanks guys (didn't expect reponses in my food diary - thought it would be WAY too boring for people to bother reading, lol).

You are absolutely right Lydia, more fruit and veg would be great, but I'm not living at home at the moment so unfortunately I just have to make do with what's here....I do buy bits and pieces (satsumas especially - love em!) for my diet, but living with 8 people means it doesn't tend to be around for long! I think that has a lot to do with why I've been struggling recently...I can't buy my normal low points shop and expect other people not to eat it :rolleyes:

Should be moving back home soon, so won't be for much longer (she says...lol).

Ah that explains it! Think you deserve a medal living with 8 people! I live with my mum and two pets and that feels overcrowed to me at time (sometimes I'm rather too fond of my own company!).

Under those circumstances you are actually doing really well!

The soup sounds lovely, I adore BNS!

It certainly isn't easy, not as far as controlling my weight goes. I get shopping with all good intentions, but at the same time other people are doing shopping and getting things I would NEVER buy (because I know I can't resist them) such as pies, ice creams, chocolate, biscuits etc....it's a nightmare!

I expect when I move back into my own place I'll be surprised at how easy dieting is, lol....it'd have to be easier than it is now.

Did you know you can edit your posts missus just incase you want to keep all your days food in one post :) You can now edit them for as long as you want, not 20 mins the way you used to be able to

I've never tried butter nut squash but I love home made soup so might well give it a try.

Haha, it's wheat crunchies this week because they were buy one get one free - it'll change to something else once the offer ends, lol!!

BNS is lovely in soup - though I put so much black pepper in mine that you can barely taste it :rolleyes:

Haha, strangely I don't use it on anything else, but in my soup I like LOTS of it - nice and spicy - yum yum!
