'Technically' .... not really.

Practically? I've always used vegetable buillon as a savoury drink and it doesn't seem to have adversely affected my diet. At the moment, I'm using Kallo organic veggie buillon - but if you decide to use something like this, try to make sure it's a low-salt variety (I think Marigold does one).

If you're in any doubt though, stick to CD savoury drink :)
