Hi was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what to use for marinades. Getting fed up of soy sauce!

Not a wet marinade but I often spray chicken with frylight and throw on either cajun or jerk seasoning and leave as long as possible before cooking it.

    Tandoori marinade
1 carton of fat free natural yoghurt
    2 green chillies, finely chopped
    2 tsp grated green ginger
    3 cloves of garlic, crushed
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp red chilli powder
    1 tsp black cumin
    1 1/2 tsp garam masala
    2 tsp vinegar

Combine the yoghurt, green chillies, ginger and garlic in a blender until smooth.
Empty into a bowl and beat in all the remaining ingredients.
Marinade meat of your choice (chicken is lush :D) for at least 6 hours, but preferably overnight.
Shake off excess marinade, before baking in an oven at maximum temperature in a shallow baking tray for about 20 minutes.

    Yum Yum

Mix together equal amounts of diet coke and tomato sauce, rub on meat and leave to marinade for 2 hours for a tasty bbq taste.
