    Hi RC

Not been in Dec, but we went in May this year. I expect weather in dec would be nice. We went in may and it was cold for may but it was hot enough for me!!

We got ripped off by the taxi from the airport so watch out for that one. I'm not sure how much its supposed to be so you better check before you go.
    Whereabouts are you staying??

Also the sellers can be quite insistant, so be prepared for that, in a souk they wanted £70 for 10 bangles that I didn't even want, eventually my boyfriend paid £7 for 2 bangles, so be prepared to say no thankyou (or arabic equivalent - cant remember what that is)
It is a game for them and you would be fleeced of your money for something you don't want, given half the chance.
That said we had a nice time, just thought i'd give you a warning.

Hope I haven't put you off, i'd go back to Marrakesh!

Yes I went for Christmas about 3 years ago, it's a lot warmer than England in that we wore short sleeves on some days but it was a bit nippy on some days so you'd need a jacket/cardigan.

Gorgeous city and I'd love to go back, as mentioned the shopkeepers can be insistent but just keep saying no - also be wary of taking photographs of people at the Souk especially that water seller/snake charmers/people with monkeys, they don't like people taking photographs in they're not paying.

    Have a great time!

    Thanks for your reply's

We are staying at the Clubhotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie it's an all inclusive holiday so airport transfers included.

I went to Tangiers many years ago so the heavy sell is expected & I can say no unlike my friend she might have a problem!! the thing I remember most were the children offering to be guides it was harder to say no to them

I would like to take photo's of the locals & would be prepared to give a small payment did you do this? & how much is a fair amount to offer
