    Neither are an A choice.

85g ricotto is a B choice on GREEN only

    Mascarpone isn't a healthy extra.

    Thank you!

I'd love to be able to use this instead but I find it tastes really tangy, which I'm not keen on.

Any tips on masking the flavour?? Could I maybe use half ricotta and half quark - would that mask the taste?

Any idea on the syns for ricotta if not used on a green day as a HB?

    Thanks

Depends what kind of recipe your making I love the tangy taste so not sure i can be of help. Morrison's and sainsbury's quark is less tangy then the one you get at asda (you used to get the same one everywhere but in the last 6 months they seem to have changed it to be more like fromage frais)

No idea on the syns for ricotta have you looked on the sw website i have got to start work so no time to look .

Ricotta is 2 syns per 28g. Not too bad.

BUT, Mascarpone is 6 syns per 28g!

    But that's what syns are for . . .
