Maybe a silly question...?

    I don't know if this is a silly question but do you lose more weight when in ketosis or does ketosis just make you feel better/less hungry etc and not really effect weight loss?

    I know you will still lose weight due to the small amount of calories and carbs etc involved but just wondered if ketosis makes you lose more, if that makes sense?

    Well just as a guess, isn't ketosis a big part of the Atkins diet? And with that you can eat grease galore? X

    I think it doesn't increase weight loss but ensures that the weight lost is fat and not muscle - I think so anyway!!

    I was under the impression that ketosis is when your body is burning it's own fat stores for energy instead of glucose & carbs.
