    Hi all.
I've been doing WW for 6 weeks now and am debating quitting the meetings and going at it alone now I have the hang of the pro points system? I did WW before with the old system and quit to do it at home and got bored. But now i have found this website things could be different!
Is this wise? I could really do with the money a monthly pass costs! I'm jus scared I will fall off the wagon!!! Xxx

well give it a go alone and see how you go.... if you try it alone and don't do that great you know you've at least tried, then maybe consider going to a class or whatevers x

some people work absolutely fine on their own and others need the support of a group or the accountability of a public weigh-in. I dont usually stay to class but i need the public weigh-in. i guess it is up to you to know which kind of person you are. If you quit and it doesnt work out, like Hannata says, you can just go back to a class and carry on :)

I definitely need the accountability of having someone else weigh me! That's why I re (after many many years absence!)joined WW. I lost 3 stones but got stuck ~ eating healthily and going to the gym was still going on but the weight loss was just stuck.
Really think about whether or not you can do it on your own, you may very well be right and be able to do it with the support of this site.
I really need somebody to say now "Kate just what is going on, show me next week you can do it!"
I need the kick up the bum! Same at the gym I need the trainers to be on my back lol
Good luck with whatever you decide

Yeah I'm the same... my leader will always maintain that we don't have to answer to her, she may not expect us to, but its like I expect it of myself. And theres nothing like the harsh reality of someone knowing you've put on weight. Whereas its very easy to brush it off when its just you...

There's nothing like the excellent feeling of knowing you've had a really great week, and stepping on those scales and getting a great result. My leader is always enthusiastic about loses too which helps.

Perhaps you could get a friend to weigh you and that would give you the 'accountability' you might need. I go it alone and with this board am doing ok. good luck
