I certainly do not want to bring people down....I just thought while we are all tucked up snug in our homes, with our trees and gifts, chestnuts and mulled wine....we should spare a moment and think of those, so very far from their families....and say some kind of 'prayer', religious or not, that they may be home for Christmas next year.

I do so, and with hearty thanks and respect.

I know alot people who have sent christmas cards, and food to the troops in iraq and afghanistan its a beautiful thing :D
