MEWW Food Diary

    I am doing WW alone as no classes available and as I don't live in the UK at the minute I can't sign up online.

    Any points/tips on my meal plan would be gretly appreciated.

    I'm allowed 23 points/day and try to save around 4 as I have active weekends lol (active means wine!)

    Also, having read other's diaries I always use digital kitchen scales as well as measuring spoons & cups with scraped tops :) I am fanatical about weighing lol.

    I'm going to paste yesterday's first :)

    Breakfast

    Scrambled eggs dry fried (WW recipe) 3 points
    1 egg, 1 egg white, 1/2 tomato, 1/2 oz Light Philly

    Snack

    1 Black Cherry Yogurt (not low-fat) 1.5 points
    Points calculated using Blackberry App

    Lunch

    Tuna Salad 4 points
    Tin drained tuna, 1 tomato, 2 spring onions, handful of rocket, beetroot, pickled cucumber, lemon juice.

    Snack

    1 medium sized Peach 1 Point

    Dinner

    Crispy Garlic Chicken Breast & 150g new potatoes (WW recipe) 5 points

    Snack

    1 yogurt, 1 apple & 1 peach mixed 3.5 points
    1 fat free Mozzarella Cheese String 1 point

    This worked out at 19 points and I have saved 4 of my allowance of 23 :D.

    Any pointers etc?

    I already have today's fully planned so here goes

    Breakfast

    Scrambled eggs dry fried 2 points
    1 egg, 1 egg white, 1/2 tomato, 1/2 onion, 20g fat-free cheddar (I have a post on the points section double checking this)

    Snack

    1 Black Cherry Yogurt (not low-fat) 1.5 points
    1 Medium Peach 1 point

    Lunch

    Lemon Pepper Tuna Sandwich with Rocket 4 points
    WW recipe from their site.


    Snack

    15g salted cashew nuts 1 Point
    Points calculated from nutritional value on pack

    Dinner

    Chicken Korma & Basmati Rice with Chutney 5 points
    (WW recipe from their site) Editing to add that this was the most amazing meal! It's the recipe with apple and banana in it if anyone has and hasn't tried it :)

    Snack

    4.5 point snack to be decided on tonight 4.5 point

    This again is 19 points of my 23 allowance saving 4 for the weekend :D

    Breakfast

    1 egg, 1 egg white, 1/2 tomato, 1/2 onion, 16g fat-free cheddar

    Snack

    1 Black Cherry Yogurt 1.5 points
    15g Salted Cashew Nuts 1 point
    Starbucks Grande Skinny Latte 2.5 points

    Lunch

    Lemon Pepper Tuna Sandwich with Rocket 4 points
    Is Balsamic Vinegar 0 points?

    Snack

    1 Ryvita Rye Cracker & 1 Bridelight Cheese Portion 0.5 Points

    Dinner

    Pea, Spring Onion & Rocket Risotto With 1 slice Garlic Bread (WW recipes) 7 points

    Snack

    15g Salted Cashew Nuts 1 point


    This gives me 19 points of my 23/day allowance saving another 4 for my weekend away :D

    2 Dougnut peaches 1 point (these are tiny and weigh nothing like an ordinary peach - still 1 point??)

    Lunch

    Tuna Salad 4 points
    Tuna, carrot, onion, lemon juice, 1tsp light mayo, beetroot, pickles, dill pickles

    Snack

    15g Salted Cashews 1 Point
    2 Ryvita Crackers & 1 Bridelight Cheese 1 Point
    Dinner

    Chicken with Tomato & Red Onion Sauce with Creamy Mash (WW recipes) 6.5 Points

    Snack

    1 Blackcherry Yogurt 1.5 Points
    15g Salted Cashews 1 Point


    This gives me 19 points of my 23/day allowance saving another 4 for my weekend away :D 12 points saved so far!
