Mexico Adult Only hotels

Hi everyone

Me and hubby are looking for a holiday in Cancun this year. He has spoke to different people and some of them went for an adult only hotel. They said the entertainment was fabtastic, a really good laugh, adult entertainment.

I have been looking online and found a few adult only hotels.

Has anyone been to any. I don't want to end up in a swingers hotel lol x x

Don't know if this will help but we went to el dorado seaside sites by karisma last year, which is an adults only hotel. It was a 'special' anniversary & birthday treat so we splashed out & upgraded seats on the plane & opted for a swim up room. It was fab! Even had double jacuzzi bath in the actual room! Not cheap, but fab! We booked through First Choice but it is in Thompson brochure I think. I think the hotels in the Karisma chain look pretty good.

It was what they call a Gourmet all inclusive & only had buffet at breakfast & lunch, with the rest of the meals being waiter service in the different restaurants. No queuing days before to book, just turn up. No wrist bands either. The only thing it is a way out (towards Tulum on rivera maya maya) so a bit of a journey from the airport & nowhere around to go for a walk at night. (Cancun is much more lively & nearer to airport. )Tbh the entertainment wasn't up to much but most people hung around the bar socialising. It was the first time we went adults only & although I have grandchildren, it was nice not having kids screaming & running around. Lots of couples & honeymooners here.

Anyway, sure you won't have any problem finding somewhere lovely & will have a fantastic holiday.

We were in Mexico in April and I cannot recommend The Royal in Cancun (not to be confused with the 'Royal Cancun'), it is adults only and this was our second time there. It is fantastic. We booked through First Choice/Thomson but I think it is now only Thomas Cook who have it.

ps - definitely not a swingers hotel lol!!

We went to Mexico April 11 and stayed at the Catalonia Riviera Maya. Couldn't fault it one bit it was fabulous. Not adults only though

We went to el dorado royale once in casita suites once in regular room all amazing would highly recommend !!!

Not sure if I'm too late on this thread. We've been to Mexico several times. But for my 50th in Jan we have booked Adults only Secrets Capri on the riviera Maya. Checked Trip Advisor and some really good reviews. Combining this with 5 days in Las Vegas x
