I take it you're doing EE and have had both meat and carbs today?

I take it the cheese is full fat cheddar? 28g of that is a whole HEXA so I'd syn the milk. You're only saving one syn though so doesnt make much difference which way you do it really. Plus once you've eaten it it doesnt really matter what you call it ;)

Low Low is reduced fat cheese so you get 42g for your HEA. Normal full fat cheese you can only have 28g.

Pathcwork puss is right, you need to have low fat cheese for it to be 42g.

A quarter of a pint would be 142ml so of semi-skimmed it would be 3.5 syns yes, but this lady asked how much 200ml was which works out at 5. 250ml is 1 HEXA.

Is it ok to split HEXA's at all?

I made lasagne at the weekend and used 125g half fat cheese, cut the lasagne into 6 pieces so on average each piece has 21g in it - half the daily cheese allowance... was planning on having some for lunch today with salad and for dinner a Batchelor's pasta and sauce which requires 125ml of semi skimmed milk again is half of the daily allowance. Does this works out so its ok and syn free xx
