HI ALL!!!

So im due to start my ll journey on the 20th and cannot wait! so far ive just been lurking on here and reading all the inspirational diaries and know for a fact that i will be supported by all of you, TBH it now feels like i have known some of you for ages!!
before i start i thought i should let anyone whos interested, know a little (or alot) about me, so here goes.....
im 25 and married with one baby whos 15 months, at the mo i weigh 13stone something and im a size 14/16, this is the heaviest ive ever been (i do carry it well!:p)
so i wasnt an overweight child as such and only put on weigt after getting married 6 years ago it crept up on me! from being a size 10 and to suddenly wake up one day to realise the fact that i was now a size 16 i figured it was best to do something before i get bigger this was 2009 before getting pregnant.
we own a newsagent/offie and im surrounded by so much c*** on a daily basis argggghhh! anyways the weight creeped on over 3 years, also being on the depo wasnt a good idea either so i came off it in early 2009.....so DH and i decided to go to spain for a 2week break in october 2009 and i thought good reason to lose weight, i lost half a stone by the time the holiday came. Well i got caught on the second day of the holiday by being pregnant after trying for 2 days!! so no dieting for me although all i craved through the pregnancy was fresh friut and indian sweets and litres of water and Irn bru!!! by 36 weeks i had only put on 2kg, i am still amazed!!! i did do 6am starts combined with paper rounds etc in the snow and throughout the 9 months..i couldnt keep still!

At 39+5 days i gave birth to the most gorgeous baby boy :D he fell ill at 4 weeks and was in hospital for 2 weeks waiting for an op as he had pyloric stenosis, im sure most of what i ate during this time was comfort eating!

Around may this year i started on the dukan and although i stuck to it till babys first bday i went off the rails and coiuldnt get back on the diet and have since then realised i cant do this without support, i had heard of LL but dismissed it thinking it must be like WW, a couple of weeks ago i looked up LL properly and decided this is the way to go, i have spoken to my LLC and have had my med form signed and am now raring to go!!! i do feel like this will be the best thing i have done for a while and i know i will stick to this diet with all your support, THIS IS THE START OF A NEW CHAPTER IN MY LIFE!!!

What a lovely and very open diary!!
Sounds like your all in a good frame of mind and I'm sure you will be a skinny mini by Xmas :)

Welcome love I'm new on here too... I'v just done day 2 and had to wait 3 weeks to start! It nearly killed me .. I went tonight to meet my new group but
LLC got dates wrong and so she was only able to weigh me tonight and measure , photos and food packs !

Good luck on your journey keep posting I find it's helping me... Like I said im day 2 ...cos had some packs left from April wen I first joined

Welcome to the forum and the start of something new and exciting, your journey begins now.
Read and post often, as you have said we will all support you, it's a bit of a roller coaster at times, but stick with it, it sure pays off, and enjoy the counselling too.

Welcome and very best of luck! (although actually you won't need luck: LL works if you follow it 100% - but you will need resolve and mental strength at times). Sounds like you're really determined and ready - go for it!!

im so eager to start and im telling myself that this is the time i will lose weight and keep it off, i know LL works if you stick to it 100% and since speaking to my LLC and reading up on LL i know this is the best decision i have made, after reading up on alot of the diaries and seeing the weight you guys have lost makes me even more determined.
as you can probably see i do chat alot :blahblah: most of it is rubbish!! but promise it wont be so much when i properly start to writethings down.
the reason for me wanting to start a diary is putting my feelings down as i know this helps, maybe i will be able to figure out why i am overweight, i do need a place to rant aswell hehe!!

i do realise that rtm is the way to go to keeping this weight off and i am in this til the end

hi all

firstly thanks for the replies and words of encouragement!!

so day 1 and so far so good no hunger pangs and i have drank 2 ltrs till now and will be having 500ml with the spicy curry pack i am eating now (its not too good for me but i only got 2), another 500ml before sleeping taking me to 3 ltrs. i will be upping my water intake to around 4 ltrs after a few days.
regarding the packs at the mo the choc isnt doing much for me but will give that another go tomorrow. i LOOOOOVE the vanilla one and drank that with 500ml water as i enjoyed it a bit too much, dont know whether that was ok to do but.....

went to meeting last night and really enjoyed it, made me really think about things and life. The LLC is wonderful cannot praise her enough!!
all in all a good day, roll on day 2 whoo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! Sounds like you've done well on your first day, and you found a pack you actually like? Result :p the bars are nice too. Try the chocolate made with boiling water and a couple of tablet sweetners. Makes a nice mug of hot choc before bed. Good luck with the next few days, I hope ketosis kicks in quickly for you :)

hi thanks for that!! no bars till next week says LLC but i think i may limit them to 3 a week. hope fairy comes soon wana burn some blubber!! LOL

Three bars a week? Probably sensible and good for weight loss but I think I may be addicted to my little daily treat!! :) I'm good thanks, seem to be back on track and my head's in the right place. All the best and carry on posting ;-)

hi all

so day 2 and again im fine, no headaches etc feeling great, packs wise:

Breakfast- porridge
lunch- vanilla shake
dinner-veg soup

will be having a hot choc as my last pack and treat! water wise have drank 2.5 ltrs and will have 1ltr from now to bed time.

funny tummy rumblings today even when i was feeling full to burst, any ideas guys?

looking forward to tomorrow, will be trying the chilli con carne and strawberry shake.

not really much to say hope everyone had a good day, off to catchup on some diaries and finally start giving some support to you all!! xxx

2nd day I remember it well!
Tummy rumblings, are you using water flavourings? They can have that affect. Another couple of days and you will be in ketosis as well so that will help you as you go.
Use some distraction as well, long soaks in the bath etc.
I found it great after a couple of weeks to try on my clothes every week, and then enjoyed putting them in the charity bag, so motivating!!

I agree with julz over the water flavourings I have them all the time cos I don't like water on it's own I have rumbling tummy a lot ooh and wind!! Lol lol

thanks julz and angie, i am using the flavourings, as for distractions, julz, i will be having a very long soak tonight followed by a hot vanilla!

will be along later tonight to update and catchup on your diaries have a wicked day guys keep it up whoop whoop!!!!!!!!!

hi all

so day 3 today and have had another good day have had the following

strawberry shake
veg soup
chilli con carne
will have a hot vanilla with coffee around 11
have drank around 3.5 ltrs and will have another 500ml before bed.

have cut out the flavourings today till next week as on the bit of paper the LLC gave me before starting it said no bars or flavourings till day 8 and i really want the high numbers for the first week!
had the chilli con carne for the first time and didnt like it so wont be trying that in a rush again! liked the strawberry but the vanilla is gorge!
been serving in the shop again like the past few days surrounded by lots of sweet and savoury junk and can honestly say did not fancy any of it which i am proud of!

hope tomorrow is as good as these past three days, roll on thursday 1st weigh in cant wait!!

have a good night guys and a good monday keep going all you future skinny minis whoop whoop!!!!!
