Mint Sauce

    Hi guys does anyone know the syns in Mint sauce or is it free!!:confused:

    Mint sauce is free as long as its just vinegar and mint. Colmans is free, thats the one I use.
    The jelly type mint sauce is not as it contains sugar.

    my consultant mixes it in to her salads and says it's gorgeous. i'm not brave enough to try it yet!

    I occasionally mix mine with natural yogurt and use it as a salad dressing or a dip, its really nice, you should try it!!

    will definately try that with some chopped cucumber and pour it over falafels. mmmmmmmmm

    has anyone got a recipe for free falafels?

    Loves the yoghurt and mint mix, especially with tandoori chicken and salad, all free on red, "what a plan eehh? lol

    OMG would never have thought of that..I just put it on peas and Yorkshire puds!!!

    I posted a thread on this for kebab mint sauce

    3 tsp of mint sauce
    Natural greek yogurt/ fromfrais (i prefer greek yog)
    Vinegar and a pinch of sweetner & mix well.....it really is lovely.
