Mixing it up - syns

Right, this week I am going to mix it up a bit. In a bid to get an Easter egg out of my house and to break through my STS curse (I seem to STS every 3rd WI or so) I am going to try subtracting my syns over the week.

I had a 3lb loss this week and I think it could have been more but I've not eaten as much as previous weeks and I've hardly had any syns (1.5 yesterday! FAIL) so this week I'm starting with 105 and subtracting throughout the week. My sister gave me an Easter egg and I've worked out that 1/2 of one is 25.5 syns, so I've given my BF half and the other half I've taken off my 105 already so I don't have to weigh it, I can just nibble during the week.

I've made a spreadsheet, I'm such a dork. Not sure why I'm posting really, just needed to write it down I suppose. :D

Have a try - I sometimes move over to weekly syns if I have a party coming up or I want to eat something syn-heavy! When I have done this it's not affected my weightloss. I would mae sure though the day before WI not to go too heavy on syns as that's when you might gain/STS.

Wow ..... a syn spreadsheet? lol Hey, if it helps you to keep on track, then why not? I tend to think of my syn allowance, as a weekly thing and I feel I can stick within that allowance pretty well (most of the time at least!) Good luck with it!

i used to have a big grid with 70 squares and i would tick one off for every syn at the beginning of the week. it used to help a lot when i was drinking in the house as i would forget how much i had had lol
