Thought I would create this, mines probably a little boring and may consist a lot of the same things.

Im old school, I am doing this when you used to be able to have 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs and red/green days.

WEDNESDAY 26TH OCTOBER 2016 - RED DAY

Breakfast

Three Tesco Turkey Rashers
2 Slices Warburton Wholemeal (from 400g loaf)
1 Egg done with two sprays (2 cal spray) sunflower oil
One Slice of cheese (HEA)

Cup of tea no sugar and semi skimmed milk from HEA allowance.

Dinner

Scrambled egg on 2 slices brown toast from morrisons (1 slice of bread HEB, 1 slice of bread 6 syns if memory serves me correctly).

Decaff coffee with semi skimmed milk HEA

320g pot of Morrisons Melon and grapes pot.


Evening Dinner Later on.

2 Tesco turkey breast steaks seasoned with garlic salt and done with 4 squirts 2 cal spray sunflower oil
Some chopped onions thrown in pan with sea salt and black pepper done on low light
Big mixed leaf salad at side with a full red onion chopped

Have also had a small bowl of home made bolognese (no pasta) when I served up my sons dinner.

4 slices thin ham

320g pot melon and grapes. during evening and plenty of water to drink

Im really hungry tonight. This is what happens if I have my carbs too early on.

Gonna try a cup of tea to try and curb it.

Good morning! :)


Today I am taking my son to Gullivers World, it's going to be tricky as I am not sure how the places are eating wise.

So, I am staying neutral for now until I know what they sell so not to blow my syns off the earth or starve to death lol.

THURSDAY 27th OCTOBER 2016


BREAKFAST

2 eggs done in pan with 4 2 cal squirts sunflower oil (0.5 syn)

One quorn sausage (these used to be free either day)

2 slices Hovis Nimble (HEB)

2 cups of coffee with 1 sugar each (2 syns) and milk from HEA.

DINNER

This DID NOT go to plan. :-(

I avoided the burger places like the plague and opted for the "pasta n pizza" in the hope i could have paid extra for pasta that was tasty and not mindblowingly fattening.

It was all you can eat....

Pasta was boring tomato or cheese. I dont like tomato unless its been jazzed up a bit and due to the tenner i paid i opted for pizza on the basis i hadnt had my cheese yet and was more edible.

Syns.....im just crossing my fingers for tomorrow.

EVENING DINNER

Not sure what to go for tbh. Had an obscene amount of refined carbs.

May go for smoked salmon and mixed leaf salad and red onion. With no carbs.

Moving on from the food disaster that was yesterday...it is supposed to be cheat day for me (I am not recommending it but I need one day of the week to just relax a bit and enjoy my Friday).

Due to my food disaster yesterday I am not going to go too mad with the food.

FRIDAY 28th OCTOBER 2016 - RED DAY

BREAKFAST

3 rashers turkey bacon

1 egg done in pan with 4 sprays 2 cal sunflower oil (0.5 syns)

2 slices Hovis Nimble (HEB)

2 cups decaf coffee with one sugar in each (2 syns total) and milk from HEA

DINNER

Two Tesco turkey breast steaks done with 1.5 onions salt and pepper in pan with 5 sprays 2 cal Sunflower Oil (0.5 syns).

Mixed leaf salad.

Water to drink.

300g melon trio

SATURDAY 29th OCTOBER 2016 - RED DAY

BREAKFAST

3 egg omlette with 2 turkey rashers.

One cup of decaff coffee with one sugar (1 syn) and milk from HEA.

DINNER

Cheese and ham toastie (2 slices wholemeal bread (2 HEB plus HEA)

3 cups of tea no sugar milk from HEA.

SNACKS
300g pot of melon trio

2 slices corned beef (used to be free on red days, im taking it as free as pretty lean what I had)

DINNER

Pork fillet salt n pepper seasoned
Mixed leaf salad with red onion
Water to drink

SUNDAY 30th OCTOBER 2016 - RED DAY

Egg and Chilli Cheese on toast (HEA and HEB)

2 cups of decaf coffee with one sugar in each (2 syns)

DINNER

Out and about at the park so a bit of a struggle and feeling hungry so had a cup of tea no sugar, milk from HEA.

Packet of Quavers (5.5 syns)

EVENING DINNER

Roast beef, carrot and swede mash, carrots and broccoli. Gravy.

Hubby left 1.5 mccain roasties and i just couldnt leave them. They was fit and enjoyed every little syn in them.

If anyone could help with synning them id be greatful. I know its 1 syn for every 20 cals but i dont know how much they weighed so was hoping for an average per roastie.

I was thinking 6 to be on safe side???????

MONDAY 31st OCTOBER - RED DAY

Skinny latte from neros 102 cals so...(7 syns with 2 from sugar)

Dinner

Chicken and pepper skewers with side salad and portion of nandos peri peri sauce (not sure of syn value but from what ive read would be about 1 syn)

Pint of lime and soda water.

EVENING DINNER

I havnt had any HEBs yet today and gone to Morrisons for dinner with my son.

They had no Jackets
No salmon
No lamb

I have ended up getting fish, chips and peas. I remember a time where if something was fried you added 6 syns to it so I am hoping its not going to have a bad affect. ONLY EATEN HALF THE CHIPS WITH THE FISH AND PEAS. Fingers crossed.

Couple of tortilla chips....was nowhere near a 1/4 of the bag....prob about 6 chips in all....4 syns?

Bottle of Oxford Landing Chardonnay...this is a bunch of syns but im not looking them up. I look forward to this Friday night treat all week. I feel like im pretty good all week so deserve it. :D

Hi Mom38, I like your diary, it's not boring at all! :). I used to follow the old plan too, still have many red and green days nowadays with the odd EE day in between (because I love proper spag bolognese with real pasta). Good Luck on your weight loss journey

SUNDAY 6th NOVEMBER 2016 - RED DAY

BREAKFAST

Double egg on 2x wholemeal toast (HEB from 400g loaf), with slice of cheese (HEA)

2 cups of coffee, one sugar in each (2 syns), milk from HEA.

DINNER

Snacked on some turkey
12g digestive bites...3 syns...so not worth them.

Chicken breasts seasoned with Cajun seasoning and put with baby leaf salad (spinach, iceberg and rosso i think).

Loads of lime cordial (no added sugar) and water.

15g packet of Morrisons salted popcorn (4 syns...THAT was worth it!) Just got to make sure I dont trough the other 5 bags now. :innocent002:

EVENING DINNER

Lamb shank
Carrot and swede mash
Cabbage
Gravy (19cals per 50 mil...1syn?)

It was fit!

WEDNESDAY 9TH NOVEMBER - RED DAY

DINNER

Went to wetherspoons with hubby and was starving. Steak was on offer so I had the 14oz aberdeen angus rare (please dont judge...I didnt have any carbs lol).

I told them no chips but salad if I could have it and they happily obliged.

Hubby had my chipotle mayo

I did have some garden peas 1.5 syns. They was lovely fresh ones with a slight sweet crunch...would have been a crime to leave them lol.

6.30pm...just feeling hungry after that steak at 12pm haha.

Im making chicken curry and rice but ill just be having chicken curry no rice. Gonna save my HEB til later.

FRIDAY 11TH NOVEMBER
CHEAT DAY (not in plan, personal choice)

Today is cheat day for me, my one day a week I relax, drink wine and chill out. I try not to go too mad but if there is something I really fancy I will have it and not feel guilty.

Egg on 2x wholemeal toast for brekkie

Chicken skewers and salad for dinner.

Im having crispy duck baked in the oven with the pancakes, no sauce as I dont like it.

I have a bottle of Pinot Grigio that im going to enjoy and a bag of Aldi's special beef and red wine crisps...not ideal but I really fancied some.

I am not counting syns today...syn counter most likely would explode lol.

227g loaded baked potatoe skin HEB (potatoe scooped out mashed 1 slice of cheddar cheese (5 syns) and a whole chopped red onion in and baked again)

I have no salad again...i'm lost without salad. Got a whole onion in but my meal doesnt feel complete.

Egg and slice of cheese (HEA) on toast 2x slices wholemeal bread from 400g loaf (HEB)

DINNER

Dinner is at Tescos which is a bit of a disaster for eating.

Opted for a jacket potato and cheese with salad. It came and looked like a lot more than 28g of cheese on so I have doubled the syn value and slapped 12 syns on it.

Was nice but I really didn't want to throw 12 syns at it. I also don't like waste so have eaten and enjoyed it.

Fanta Zero. I am so glad I didnt have the skinny latte I was fantasising about :innocent002:

EVENING DINNER

I am doing roast pork which I will weigh out my portion for HEB.

Will be serving with baby potatoes, carrot and swede mash, broccolli and cauliflower and a bit of gravy.

Melon pot for afters.
