monosodium glutamate allergy

Hi all

This may sound a bit odd, however does anyone else here have a monosodium glutamate allergy?

I'm curious as I had a reaction to the cottage pie which was identical to my MSG allergy, and I can't see it in the ingredient list.

So does anyone out there also have this allergy and react to the cottage pie?

Thanks. I have already and they say that it's not in the ingredient list. I've asked them to double check what the "thickener" is and he said he'd do that tomorrow and let me know.

I was just more curious if anyone else who has an MSG allergy has reacted in the same way.
