Hi guys, I'm new to this and keeping a food diary - I had a skinless chicken breast from a morrisons deli whole chicken. Can anyone advise me on whether this is classed as free on a red day?

    Thanks

Yes that will be fine on red and EE as long as there is no skin

Thanks a lot! I also understand that peas, sweetcorn, green beans and broad beans are not free on red - is this the case?

Also 15ml of morrisons eat smart French dressing - does this have a syn value?

Am excited for my 1st class!!

    Thanks again!

Yep that's true although I think the fine green beans are okay. Also parsnips, potatoes and sweet potatoes are not free on red days

One really handy hint is that for food with no free food in them you can work out the syns using 1 syn per 20 calories - this would apply to your dressing

Just checked, there are 9 calories per 15ml dressing therefore 1/2 a syn. Actually much lower than 1 thought!
