Mouss-y chilli

Hi folks

I'm back on LL ... again... after messing around... again!

Picked up a load of the chilli packs last night at class as they weren't out last time I was doing LL - tried one at lunch today and it came out really frothy? Kind of like a mousse? I used two packs trying to get the right consistency - first pack with more water and second with less, but came out frothy both times. Anyone got any tips on how to get it to come out more like chilli than a mousse?

Hi Loula,
Welcome back. I would say, mix it with the bsck of a desert spoon, gets the lumps out and minimises the froth. I always added Tabasco and a pinch of salt to mine.
