moving up to 1000 - is the plan the same as in the old book?

morning all. on Saturday I am due to move up from the 810 plan to the 1000 plan. at the moment I have the new 810 Cambridge book but not the 1000 one yet. I do have the old yellow book with all the plans in though.
I am trying to get myself prepared (shopping wise and mentally) for the foods I'm allowed on 1000. is the 1000 plan still the same as in the old book or has it changed at all? I will be getting the new book on sat but, as I say, I'd like to get prepared now.
can anyone help?

there are a few changes to the 1000 plan, more protein options like eggs, prawns and some other stuff, aduki beans etc, cant tell you offhand as hubby is on this plan and hes robbed the book and got it with him at work

Hi Kellie im doing the 1000 too at the moment. I was ill last week and ate very little so now working up the plans again so I dont put on the weight I lost. Must say I am soooo hungry after being in ketosis on 810. Keep that water bottle at the ready

i'm really feeling the hunger today actually. I must have drunk about 3 litres already! I'm just making lunch now cos my tummy is so empty!! still looking forward to eating fruit again tho!

Miss Jell tot, I'm on 810 as well. Didn't know that you could still be in Ketosis now? Or did I read that wrong, lol and you are on ss still working up plans to the 810? x

I never thought fruit could taste so good lol. Its the lettuce leaf salad that gets me :( feels as if im eating grass for lunch lol

I enjoy the 810, only cause you can eat a decent size meal, lol and I must say that I have upp'd my salad allowance too. I know its not allowed as such, but I find it hard to measure, so half a bag of herb salad is about right for me. Whats the 1000 like? x

Wow! Well done for getting to 1000! Good luck with the shift and try not to think about the hunger too much. Concentrate on how far you've come and how close you are to goal! Keep up the good work!! Good luck! x

mmmm well I've actually just been quite naughty (for the first time whilst doing cd). it's already been a long day (I was up at 6) and this afternoon I'm taking my gran to the hospital for 2pm then she is having an eye op sometime after 4pm then we have to wait another two hours after the op before we can go home. anyway I've been feeling a bit ropey this morning so I've had my lunch (quorn and broccoli) but then I found a half eaten tub of fat free strawberry yogurt in the fridge and ate it! oops! I just couldn't stop myself as I felt so shakey and empty. anyway I feel better now and I'm not going to do it again!!!! I just needed to tell someone what I had done so that I can move on and forget about it and not keep it my guilty secret! (if that makes sense!)

that's good then! I don't think I have been in ketosis really since Sunday as I have been feeling a little hungry and today it has been really bad! I think I must be sensitive to carbs or something. but as you say, in the grand scheme of things it was a minor blip...... at least I didn't scoff the Easter egg in the cupboard, or my housemates French fancies!!! ( but it was her yogurt that I gobbled up!) it's a good job she's gone to Ireland for 3 weeks!!! but damn her for leaving cadburys creme eggs in my line of sight!! lol

Yeah, don't worry too much about the yog, it shouldn't make too much of a difference to your loss, but try to keep cheating to a minimum so you don't get used to it!! x

no more cheating. I promise! xxx I wanna get to goal and not blow it again like last time. it's taken me since jan 2006 to get this far and im finally going to do it this time!!!!

It was only half a yogurt and they should have eaten it, lol..Ooohh how naughty of your flatmates..:p

I was brought a Cabury's cream egg by my OH on Sunday. I put it away in my CD shakes bag, lol.. was out of thought but saw it again this morning Grrrrr :eek:!!! Not sure what I'm gonna do with it in there now though. Blooming teasing thats what it is :Na_Na_Na_Na: !
