Not sure how them scales work pet, but you are not just losing muscle otherwise I must have been like the incredible Hulk and not the Incredible Bulk.
I'm sure some one will be on soon to put you straight, don't worry yourself.:)

It's water and glycigen from around your liver thats going. Muscle doesn't come into it (apparently) until you get to bmi 25, which is why then you move up the calorie plans.

thanks all, havnt had any problems so far, no headaches or tiredness etc,a little bit of hunger. got into ketosis on end of day 2 thats probably because i dont eat much carbs anyway.i like all the shakes too, hate the chicken soup, one spoon was enough! am i ok to do a few light weights and do some leg toning exercises or is it too soon. i have 2stone 7pounds to lose so hoping i only do the tmr for a few weeks, but i do miss my cups of tea. does anyone do weights or toning, can you let me know how your getting on please

I did light weights (about half hour 3 times a week) when I was on Lipotrim about 2/3 weeks....really found it good and I had loads of energy for going to the gym......................

thanks bea, im going to go on the exercise bike now, hoping tht will bring fat down, muscle up.. dont want to go off this LT but am really worrying about the muscle loss. stomach not bloated anymore, which is great, it used to blow out as soon as i had my cereal, maybe i shouldnt use the scales as it is making me think im doing badly. also, just in case anyone is just starting up, i took 2 painkillers on 2nd day, just in case i got a headache lol, i know thts crazy but i was getting the headache before it got me!!:D

I suffer from migraines so when I get a headache I usually have to take something straight away before it develops into a migraine, but Ive been very good and if I get a headache Ive up my water intake and it normally goes away, but today it was different, I had to reach for the painkillers too what are we like ? he he he

To be honest I had some of the same worries...but if anything my muscle tone was better especially when I was doing exercise....think thats why its soooo important to stick to the diet correctly....they recommend (according to my chemist) the low GI diet post LT which actually takes out all the cereal, bread, rice type products.......which are very bloating.....in one way (sad I know) I am looking forward to getting back to LT as I just loved that not feeling hungry / loads of energy type feeling it gave me....
