Must haves on shopping list

Hi everyone!

I'm just starting slimming world today, I've done it I the past but only with the original and green days so the extra easy is a little new to me! I have 3st 11lbs to lose for my target, and possibly more to lose depending on how I feel at 11stone! It's daunting and seems impossible!

Anyway! Im heading to the shops today so I was wondering if anyone had any must haves for your shopping lists? I'm a bit lost as to what to buy!

SW is a great plan, and one of the best things about it IMO is that you don't have to buy 'special' food unless you want to. Normal household staples will do. I always have these in:

Carbs
* Wholemeal bread
* Baking potatoes
* Rice
* Pasta
* Couscous
* Sometimes Quinoa

Fruit/Veg
* Bagged stir fry mix
* Bagged salad
* Onions and garlic
* Selection of seasonal fruit and veg
* Tinned tomatoes (go through at least 3 tins a week)
* Baked beans
* Frozen raspberries

Protein:
* Smoked salmon
* Salmon fillets
* Tinned tuna
* Chicken breasts
* Quorn mince/Quorn chicken style pieces

Dairy
* Milk
* reduced fat cheese
* reduced fat cream cheese
* cottage cheese
* Fat free natural yogurt
* Fat free fruit yogs (mullerlight or similar)

Other:
* Alpen Lights (or Aldi Harvest Moon 70 cal bars)
* Selection of herbs and spices
* Merengue nests
* Mikado

Hope that helps!

my must haves are usually bananas, grapes, eggs, harvestmorn cereal bars(very much like aplin lights but cheaper and yummy!) and the hartleys fat free(10cal) jelly pots(half syn) which is awesome for a quick sweet fix =]
