    Hi Guys,

I thought I would open up a diary thread for myself just to stay motivated and have some support, as well as support others. I'm on day 6 of my lipotrim journey and am so far 100% both on the shakes and my water intake. I feel great but made the mistake of weighing myself 2 days ago, i had lost a massive 13lbs! Sadly today i went back on and had gone up 4lbs. Not sure what is making them do it though!

I'm staying on the shakes and soups for 4 weeks and then a refeed week before going on a high protein diet and exercise regime, hopefully as a lifestyle! I am such a carb addict and seeing how I am not hungry on this diet has really shown me how i was depending on the quick bursts of energy instead of taking care of my body, hence becoming 14stone!

Although, this isn't the true beginning, 7 months ago I went to ibiza, weighing 15 stone 4lbs, i was so uncomfortable it made me realise i had to change! I came home and joined myfitnesspal and began logging in everything i had eaten, in 6 months i lost 2 stone (put 10lbs on over christmas) and was surprised to say i wasn't near happy with how i looked even after that weightloss! Since then I have decieded a final goal weight of 160lbs, hoping to get there before June, so that would be 4 stone in one year, hoping lipotrim is the kickstart I need to start this new year happy and healthy

    Sorry for going on :p

6 months! wow that's a long time to stay on it, I bet you lose so much! Glad the hunger/shakes haven't affected you, they didn't really get me either! I weighed myself again this morning and i've gained another half lb, i know i need to stop weighing and it's still a first week weightloss of 7.5lbs but i have been 100% and honestly expected more. Wish I could stay on longer than the 4 weeks plus 1 week refeed incase i don't lose as much as i wanted! Good luck on your 4th day!

Wow, now I feel so silly. Just been for my weigh in and I'm officially 13 stone 3.5lb!!! Been warned not to weigh on my scales and my hard work has paid off with a massive 11.5lbs lost this week! Can't express how happy I am, I'm back to under the 2 stone I had already lost and on my way into the 12's :) hope everyone else's day is as good as mine! Xxx

Well done you - that really is a great result and you must be so chuffed! I think I'm on a similar journey to you. I have done LT before with success and then had another go a couple of years ago, but unfortunately got ill. Last summer I felt really dumpy on holiday, then started a new relationship and have lost a stone since then. I'm in my first week (started last Sat but will get weighed officially Mon). I'm probably about 1/2 a stone heavier than you but would be happy to be a buddy? I go to the gym a lot - (unfortunately I have an underactive thyroid but I can't tolerate the medication ... that's why I got ill, so I need to do lots of exercise just to stay the same weight) but am struggling a little this week with the drastic calorie reduction as I'm feeling a bit weaker than normal. I too can't help weighing myself at home - it keeps me motivated ... not sure I'll have as good a week as you but every little counts. I think I'm going to stay on it until my birthday (20 March) and then go on maintenance for a bit. I'd be happy to get to 12st. I am quite muscley and I know if I get to 12st I'll be a nice size 12-14 which will suit me as I'm a curvy shape (bit too curvy atm though!).

Staying on until march should ensure you get down to 12st, it's great that you've been on it before so you know that this will all pay off! I know you don't feel great now but just think once you get properly into ketosis how you will feel and how it will be dropping off. Are you continuing with your exercising throughout LT? I know you are meant to stop but with a thyroid problem I don't suppose you'll be able to! Just think if the inches that will drop off you in that case, it's such a great diet/detox to be on, I hope it gets easier for you but if we take every lb loss as a victory it'll spur us on to stay motivated! Good luck for the rest of your day xx

I think I'm in Ketosis now. Don't feel at all hungry. Still at gym ... I'm doing body pump (that's where I'm feeling a bit weak), cycling, brisk walking (with incline) and using kettle bells, which are surprisingly good for getting the heart rate up. I was swimming 50 lengths 4 times a week but that didn't do anything at all for me (apart from make me really fit) so now I'm mixing it up a bit. What sort of exercise do you do? My thyroid really is a bugger, but taking the tablets just makes me feel so ill :( .... anyway, I get to check out hot blokes at the gym so not all bad lol!!! Body pump is absolutely fab for toning up btw if you haven't tried it! You have a good day too!

Wow no wonder you're feeling weak! I hope your body gets used to the calories and the work outs soon though. Even though you weren't losing weight with all that exercise you must be so toned! Very jealous, toned and got gym lads I need to get down there pronto hahah. If the tablets make you sick then this is defo the best way, and you must be so healthy off the back of it, always envied people who go the gym a lot, I know I could do it but I'd rather diet than exercise, lazy I suppose! I only ever do cross trainer and only started it the past 7 months, I do need something toning so body pump might really help thanks for suggesting! Hopefully starting swimming in feb and my holiday in May should keep me motivated in the gym!

Guys, I just tried the soup for the first time and I loved it! I weirdly felt like I was cheating and having a full real meal, hoping having something hot in the evening that I eat with a spoon will spur me through this next week now that i'm not going to be weighing myself as little mini boosts! I'm feeling so positive right now.

Today i'm finding a little bit more difficult, i know 100% that i'm not going to cheat but i keep going to do little things like grab a chocolate or have a sip of diet coke, things that i haven't done since the beginning. Praying that it is just a one off pang of hunger for today and tomorrow will be a lot easier. I really wish i could weigh myself though, even seeing that i've lost .25 of a pound would help me at this point! Think i need to have a pint of water, get in the bath then go to bed to face tomorrow!

It is more difficult some days. Having a bath is a good way of distracting yourself or doing housework. Bizarrely I find cooking takes my mind off eating as I think I mentally eat!! Hope today is a good day for you x

I ended up having a bath! It really did take my mind off it, another thing that helps is researching healthy recipes and lifestyles for when I finish my LP journey! I'm glad you've found ways to distract yourself as well, this forum is such a help, more than i ever could have believed. how long are you planning to stay on lipotrim slimmabum? today i feel so much more positive, i dared to step on my broken scales today (i know i know) and i think i've lost a stone, such a boost and knowing i only have 20 days of full replacements and then a week refeed its really spurring me on to lose as much as i can by then! Am i reaching for the stars by hoping to get to 12 stone??

Can't believe i've made it to day 10, DOUBLE FIGURES and only 20 more days until i start my refeed. I honestly have so much respect for those who do this diet for months on end, I wish i had to commitment but if i was to sit here now and say I'd be on this for a further 2 months I think i'd just cave! I just really hope that i can get down to 12 stone in the month i'm doing it, might be reaching for the stars but you never know! My family came home today with a KFC and it was torture! I know my will power is good and if I put my mind to something I won't give up I just wish time was going a bit more quickly haha, i'm going to my boyfriends from early tomorrow until wednesday, should pass the days easier then just one night until my next weigh in! One month to change my life and hopefully get me 10lbs from my goal weight, it's going to be so worth it xx

Today is going so much better than the past 2, I feel happy and determined! Something about being with my boyfriend puts my mind at ease. I've realised how mentally straining this diet is rather than physically! If my body can take it then my mind certainly can for 19 more days. Still 100% on my journey, really can't wait to get weighed on Thursday, hoping for a good loss. Hope everyone else is doing well!! Xx

Keep going you can do it!!!

I liked the soup the first time I tried it and now I can't have it as it makes me feel sick :( You have done very well, and I am sure you will get as much of your weight off you quickly :) I think the other half helps you a lot if they are supportive. Mine is although he keeps telling me I don't have too loose weight  but he is willing to exercise with me too :) hope all goes well for you!

saw you talking about exercise before, i have been told the best thing to do is build up your exercise and add a little more every week like swim 20 lengths then 30 and so forth. Also there are some ten minute work outs on the NHS website

10-minute workouts - Live Well - NHS Choices

which you could probably use if you feel a little self conscious going to the gym straight away :)

Keep going and you will be fine :)

Thank you! Here's hoping with the weight loss, even if I don't get rid of the 2 stone at least I'll be a hell if a lot closer than I would have been a month before :p I'm the exact same with the soup now, something about it just makes me sick, it's not even the taste! That's a good idea with building it up, I don't want to push it too far and ruin my weight loss for that week! How's your exercise doing? Proud of us for doing so well so far!!

You're going to be so skinny and not just that healthy as well! So good to see your motivation. Hopefully if we carry on like this the weight will just fall off us! Do you know what kind of diet you're going to do after LP? How long are you staying on it for?

Today is day 12 and I feel great, so excited to finish the no food course and then have the refeed and see how far I come! I've decided when I finish I'm going to go for a high protein low carb diet, and continue with the swimming. Hoping to come back on LP after a few months and get into a healthy bmi if I haven't managed to already. After years of attempting diets I can honestly say this is the best and most positive I've ever felt! Have a great day guys

So today I woke up, and I don't know if I'm imagining it or if it's just wishful thinking, but I feel SO much smaller on my stomach. Admittedly I weigh less than I have done in 6 years so maybe I'm just adjusting, but it was such a good feeling to touch my stomach and be genuinely happy! I just hope that another 2 weeks plus the refeed week brings me more personal results like this. I do care about the scales but I'm learning that it's not just the numbers that matter! If this is how I feel after 13 days I'm just dreaming about how I could feel after 30 :)
