Went to docs this morning, I have been going every month to his obesity clinic. For the last year I have tried different prescribed slimming pills and diets but nothing worked for me. I went to him with my consent form for cambridge (bmi was over 40) and said I was ok to try it but had to keep going to his clinic every month so he could keep an eye on me. Been to his clinic today and he was soooo amazed, even made me get on & off the scales 3 times to check :scale: He is now sooooo pleased with me that I only have to go to his clinic every 2 months and has asked me to take some info packs into the surgery for him.
So to all those neggie nellies - don't dis the diet, it's fantastic for me!!!!!!

Oh my goodness! Your weightloss is amazing, you must feel absolutely over the moon!

I had to read your WEEKLY losses about 4 times before I realised they were weekly not monthly! Absolutely incredible!:party0019:
Well done to you!! I can't believe your weight loss - you've averaged at over half a stone a week - for five weeks. You should be very proud of yourself :happy096:

well done Camille
Absolutely fantastic loss and yep, it's good to have a gp who understands and approves. Mine does too. She's great and now wants to see me even more regularly because she doesn't want me to go in the wrong direction. I was doubting whether to continue CD for a little while for all sorts of reasons but my gp said "it's working, you're fit and healthy and as long as you let me keep and eye on you, you can carry on"...thought that was great of her..
I wish that everybody had a gp like that, and yes, cd should be available on the NHS as it saves in the long run.

well done and glad the doc is pleased really helps if he is supportive xx
Wow thats great, its good to know that doctors are impressed with this diet :) I've been too scaredy to go to my gp in case CDC has informed her I am on this diet, I need to go for something else not urgent so I am waiting till I am on 810 so if she gives me a lecture I can say I am eating LOL
