My healthy eating plan - this is NOT a diet

    Signed up online yesterday but day one is today.

    Was starving this morning so had a big breakfast. Two M&S reduced pork sausages (2 syns), bacon medallions, egg fried in Fry Light and baked beans

    I used to put my diaries on sw site but put them on here now. Easier to see them each day.

    My day was pretty good thank you.

    Hi - was a bit of a disaster with mothers day and birthdays yesterday so now everything is all done and dusted am starting again today.

    Breakfast
    2 reduced fat sausages (2 syns), bacon, egg

    Snack
    SW Bacon quiche made with quark

    Lunch
    Chicken casserole for my flask at work - made with skinless chicken breast, red lentils, pototoes, green beans, carrots, oxo cube, ww nectarine yogurt

    Snack
    Have another small piece of quiche if peckish

    Dinner
    Birds eye salmon in herby sauce, potatoes, cauliflower and brussel sprouts

    Syns - 1/2 bottle wine (12) and the 2 sausages for breakfast makes 14 in total

    Yesterday

    Breakfast
    Bacon, egg, baked beans and 2 small wholemeal

    Lunch
    Chicken casserole for my flask at work - made with skinless chicken breast, red lentils, pototoes, green beans, carrots, oxo cube, ww nectarine yogurt

    Dinner
    Balsamic pork, jacket potato and green beans

    Snacks - Quark quiche

    1/2 bottle wine

    Breakfast
    Bacon, egg, 2 small wholemeal

    Lunch
    Usual chicken casserole

    Dinner
    Not sure - shopping tonight so will be a late dinner and will need to quick to cook so might be a jacket potato with something

    Your food sounds lovly. Chicken casserole sounds nice. I have never put lentils in, does it thicken it?

    yes, the lentils do thicken it - dont need any gravy then, just the oxo cube.

    Havent been on plan as not been feeling well, stinking cold and sinusitis. Back to it today though.

    Breakfast
    2 small wholemeal with 2 nume sausages, with a bit of clover (3.5 syns)

    Lunch
    Chicken casserole (just for a change, lol)

    Dinner
    Cottage pie

    Snack - got some ww yogurts that are free in the fridge if I can be bothered to have any of them.

    I like that `chicken casserole just for a change` my breakfasts are always so similar each day and I love chicken thighs.

    Hope you are feeling better, that sinusitis can be bad can`t it. Not something I suffer with but my brother does quite a lot.

    Next time I do a chicken casserole I will put some lentils in, as you say saves on any syns for gravy. Don`t like lentils in soup but will defo try next week when I plab the next casserole. Will let you know what I think. I was beginning to wonder what I could do with them. I was going to throw them away.
