    Hiya,

I am currently 19 weeks pregnant with my second child. When I had my little girl (Abigail) I weighed in at 15st 6lbs. In 9 month I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 12st 2lbs.

I fell pregnant in September this year and vowed I wasn't gonna gain so much weight. I really can't be bothered to lose 3stone again. My first trimester I gained 6pounds but since then following SW I have kept the weight off.

I have given myself a weekly weight gain target of one pound (max) Which would give me an overall gain of 35pounds for my pregnancy but that is the max gain. I can have a minimal gain of 15pounds.

So for 19 weeks my Target weight is 13st 0.5lb and my actual weight is 12st 8.75lb

I am finding SW is really working, I know the medical bodies support SW, Im eating healthy for my little one and I'm feeling good

Good luck to everyone and just gonna take each day at a time

Thank you, what's do great is I'm feeling so relaxed because I know that I'm eating healthy. I don't have to worry about not getting the right nutrients for baby.

Another great thing is I've not had to buy any tops so still wearing my size 12tops and I'm in size 14jeans for my bump but they are baggy around my bum and I need a belt lol

Leading off from a post in the main forum, I decided to post my reasons for wanting to lose weight after the baby

    During Pregnancy

    1) I want to make sure I have a healthy pregnancy

    2) Baby gets all the nutrients he/she needs
    3) Gain a reasonable amount of weight
    4) Have a easy labour
    5) Recover quickly after labour

    After Pregnancy

    1) I want to be a yummy mummy
    2) I want to gain my figure back
    3) Prove to my Hubby that a mum of two and 30 can be a 10/12
    4) Feel sexy after two children
    5) See myself how my husband sees me....a sexy, beautiful woman
    6) To feel comfortable in my own skin/body
    7) Not get stressed walking into a clothes shop because Ive got to buy trousers...Have a enough trouble with leg length let alone bum and thighs
    8) Feel comfortable around my sister in law's
    9) Not feeling like im frumpy mum around my two sister in laws who arent having children and are slim and sexy
    10) To stop worrying about my weight, once and for all
    11) To buy myself a new wardrobe (hubby is gonna eat his words on No 3)
    12) Be a good role model to my children
    13) To not have to think about a 'diet' ever again.
    14) Feel confident in my pictures and not being self critical
    15) To not get stressed out what to wear when going to out with friends
    16) Feel comfortable with my thighs, and be comfortable to wear short skirts
    17) Start buying sexy underwear again
    18) Learn to love all my parts of my body good and bad
    19) Make more of an effort with my apperance, such as my nails and hair
    20) Love myself

This as really made me feel focused more. I have had two flex syn days, so Monday back to 'normal' and in control

    Thank you.

Id love to be a midwife, gonna think about training in about 8years once both children are grown up and don't have so many problems with childcare.

Good luck with your paper x

Back to work after a week and a bit sick. Really don't want to go in, had a stressful few months the end of last year and lost all trust in my management BUT my New Years Resolution was to not get stressed over food/diet and it should apply to work too!

The good thing is now I'm back to work, following SW is easier. I'm all prepared, homemade soup, fruit and a bacon sandwich for breakfast when I get in.

Just hope the day goes quickly!

Hope your day back at work goes ok (and quickly). I felt pretty rough going back to work after a week sick, but this week I'm feeling more back to normal. Like you, I bring all the food I'll need so it definitely helps with planning :)

    Thank you gobolino

Well I faced the day out and had a really good day

As for SW I did well, I did have 2 choc roses and 2 ginger snap biscuits. I had a guilty attack but remembered that it was within ny syns so no worry.

The weekend was two flex days, but always feel guilty. Must learn that its ok because I was still in control.

Now I've got the evening to rekax...ahh bliss

Well I went to the Hospital yesterday for a specialised scan to see if baby had a chef lip/palate and pleased to know that baby is all fine.

I was also relieved to know that being on SW hasnt effected baby weight....I was worrying that as I've only gained 6lbs I might not be gaining enough. Baby is 10oz which is a healthy weight so that's another relief

For my SW, I knew that I wasn't going to be able to follow the plan 100%. So it became a flex day and had what was available without guilt.

Back to work today and back to SW. Today is gonna be an EE.

Hope you've got over the guilty feeling, SW is all about taking the guilt out of the equation. Every day is a new one to have a fresh start! Hope you've had a good day :)

Weigh in - I have had 3 flex days and followed the plan the other 4 days. I dont want a lose any weight this week, as my weight gain is low as it is

My weekly Target is 13st 1.5lb and my weigh in today is 12st 8.75lb. Another STS which I am shocked with but really chuffed.

My weight gain for 20 weeks is 6.25lbs

I have my sis and bro in laws coming over today. We will be having an Indian Takeaway, so today will be a Flex day but I will keep my syns down where possible.

I am finding my SAD is really affecting me at the moment, I am feeling really fed up and rather depressed. Luckily I am not in the mood to binge on chocolate and my old fav food Crisps has no attraction to me, I just feel fed up.

I have had two flex days, and I am trying to make sure that its not needed today. I have everything planned and I am cooking dinner at home so I know that there isnt any reason why I cant follow SW 100%

I am trying to stop feeling fed up,but the weather is so horrid and I cant seem to find anything to distract me and my little girl seems fed up too. So neither of us are great company lol

Hubby is home at 2pm and then off to my parents, so least I will have something to distract me. Ive just got to find things to do around the house to keep me occupied...Its rather silly but I am looking forward to bathing my daughter as its a distraction lol

Oh well, no point dwelling on my mood, I will only feel worse. I hate SAD!!!! Where is spring/summer?? lol

Oh well, my plans didn't go well. I ended up having 29 syns. Not gonna feel guilty cos SW isn't about guilt.

Tomorrow is a new day x

Well I feel like I have totally screwed up this week on. I've not had one single day since Friday where I have followed SW. I just want seem to get my head back in the game and its really frustrating me.

I am hoping that tomorrow I can get back on track. This has been my first week in 8 weeks where I've not been on SW at all. Just got to try and stop this cycle and I will be back to 'normal'

Well this week has been one of them weeks with decorating. I've tried to stick with SW where possible but had meals out mist days so gone over my syns evety day.

I'm not too fussed, as I do want a little gain so if this week does give me a gain. I'm not going to be too disappointed, however thus week coming I want to get back to normal life and be back on SW.

We will see tomorrow what the scales will say

My weigh in is today and again I'm really pleased!

I'm 21 weeks, my maximum Target weight is 13st 2.5lb. My actual weight is 12st 9.5lb.

From last week I have gained 0.75lb this week, giving me a total weight gain of 7lbs.

I'm so pleased, as said before I was worried about my little gain. Ive had confirmation from the MW that they don't focus of women's weight as much these days. She said as long as I'm not losing large amounts and eating healthly there isn't a worry. When I said I was on SW, she said she is defiantly not worried then lol

Well I've not been having a very good week. Lots of emotional upset going on. Up until the past two days, I had been coping well without using food as a crutch but yesterday and today I have been off the plan. Wednesday was 74 syns and today was 73 syns. Most of them syns was made up of chocolate biscuits (8 biscuits) and a take away (McDonald's and Domino's) We are still decorating but I don't want to make that an excuse.

I'm gonna draw a line under the whole thing, emotions included.

Tomorrow is my weigh in, and I'm expecting a gain. My baby bump is getting bigger so baby has to be having a growth spurt
