The best thing to do if you're pushed for time I've found is to batch cook one day and freeze meal size portions of healthy foods. For example I might make a quorn curry or a veg casserole and then freeze them...if I can't be bothered cooking or don't have time I can just stick one of them in the microwave.

Alternatively there's stuff like mugshots, or home made soup...just keep a pan of it in the fridge and it'll last a good few days. I like stuff like poached egg on toast too...quick and easy and keeps you full for ages.

Yeah it'll take you a few weeks of reading your books and checking everything but after a while it becomes second nature and a lot easier to follow. Best thing is to be prepared cos if you're not then you can get stuck on what meals to have and think "oh f it" and go off track. Have a nose in the recipes section, there's some fab meals there if you want to try new stuff...alternatively just try different ways of cooking and preparing your own favourite meals.
