Hi im new to this site after reading a few stories on here i decided to give it a go. I started my course of Xenical on the 1st of this month after having my 2nd son, ive decided that i need to get into shape and do something about the few ;) extra pounds. so i spoke to my doctor who started me on them. I know all the horror stories but just wondered how everyone is doing and would like to hear and share experiences with people who are in the same boat as me without being judged.

Anyway hope everyone is doing well.

Jo x

Have you read the diaries? jump in and get involved :)

I wouldn't worry about horror stories, it only happens if you break the rules :)

hiya,
think we can really only talk about our own personal experiences with xenical, as it seems to differ so much from person to person!.. at best all i get as a side effect from "bending the rules" is a bit of wind??
i personally think obsessing with the whole diet thing can become tiring and as soon as you've slipped in to a rhythm, the happier you will be! .. "but hey that's me" soooo take no notice! lol lol
nice to meet you! :family2:
sam....x

I'm not sticking to any rules-just eating sensibly.
I'm trying to not get into a 'diet' mode although I do most of it naturally now. I want a life change, not a quick fix and I think the only way I can change is to change my attitude to food xx

i think people stick to the rules to avoid side effects and i have to say your attitude towards life changes is right just that xenical rules actually mold us into a healthy lasting life change without us relaising it ... i still stick to the rules even 17 stone loss down the line not because im loosing weight but because i know its a healthy low fat way... x
