Hi there, thought I'd dive in here as I start LL on Monday/Tuesday.

I'm 44, single mum to 3 boys. I need to lose about 10 stones - the health issues of being big are really starting to show now (difficulty with climbing stairs, wheezing after walking uphill, general discomfort, dread of diabetes etc.).

So as I'll be around for a while, I look forward to getting to know some of you on this board and sharing the journey.

    Sharon x

Hi Sharon, nice to see you here. I also have two sons, one is 17 years old and the other is 11 months old lol) the little one keeps me on my toes, the bigger one drives me nuts too in a different way lol! Anyway I'm here because I also have many 'stones' to lose, I don't really like to count or think about them!! I'm just trying to get through each day by being as sensible as I can.

It doesn't work every day because I can get very low days (esp that time of the month) and all I want is chocolate and I don't care about anything else! Forever fighting my demons and my bad relationship toward food, but this year I intend to make a difference. I will be 39 this year, and I don't want to be 'fat in my forties.'

I hope things go fantastic for you and if you need some support or a friendly ear must holler!
    xxxxxx
