Hi everyone,

I tried celebrity slim for a few days about a month ago and did lose a few pounds but lost motivation to carry on.

I'm hoping by joining this forum and being able to share my experiences with people going through the same thing will help me this time round.

I did lighter life previously, and found it relatively easy to follow and lost 3 stone but the weight slowly creeped back up over Christmas.

I'm looking to lose about 1.5 stone. Is anybody in the same situation as me and wanting to lose roughly the same amount. If so, how long do you reckon it will take you?

Hiya NicNac18, I've been on CD on and off since January:sigh:. I restarted in May and now have 25lbs to lose:(. I am currently on SS but can only stay on this until I am 10st (BMI 25) so I have 20lbs to lose until then. If you fancy having a buddy let me know and we can motivate eachother! I am hoping to get to 10stone by 1st July- don't know if it's a little over enthusiastic but I'll do my best trying.lol;)

If you get yourself in the right frame of mind, the lbs WILL drop, meanwhile you've got this fab board and website to help you along the way!

I'm hoping you're right about that!
But I've been looking round this site (though I'm still not used to it) and it looks really useful, so fingers crossed :)

I'd definitely like a buddy!
I suppose short term goals are the key to losing weight so that you don't lose motivation, so the little mile stones should hopefully keep us on track!

It can be really difficult at times to stay motivated - I should know!
I was on Cambridge Diet a few years ago and lost 2 stone but it all creeped back up on me & I'm now over a stone heavier than I was when I first started CD!!

Anyway, this site is really good to help with advice & motivation. Plus it distracts you from the fridge haha.

I have roughly 3 stone to lose and am hoping to shift the first stone and a half in just under 2 months. :)

Your right the small goals keep me going otherwise it would seem like such a big task.

You should add a ticker like me to monitor your progress x
