How are you getting on so far?

My tip is plenty of water, and black coffee really helped me get rid of my hunger pangs!

Went you get bored of the shakes, Peppermint tea mixed with the Vanilla shake was one of my favourites!!

Hi and welcome,you will find lots of info here that you need but my advise is never come off for a break,only come off when you reach goal and do the re-feed properly.I made that mistake and i now cant seem to last 2 days without cheating.The worse thing is ive lost over 8 stone on this diet so i know how good it can be i just cant seem to get back into it.So thats my advise lol.
How much do you have to lose?Were you from etc...?

I'm quite new to this myself. Want to lose 5 stone and am 1 stone down after three weeks. I think it's good to set yourself small targets and maybe reward yourself with something (non-food related) when you reach them. And you will reach them on LT if you stick with it.

Had a bit of a blip in week 3 - that seems to be a common theme on some of the threads but I just keep thinking that we can all "give" ourselves a few months to really focus on this and get the weight off for good.

Hi tom - welcome to LT.

I've got a very similar amount to lose, am aiming for at least 9 stone and have so far, in 4 months, lost 5.5stone already!!!

Top tips:
do it 100% until you reach goal
drink lots of water
vanilla shake plus teaspoon of espresso powder, or any decent coffee
have lots of crushed ice and/or ice cold water - really helps the shakes i think.
some like the choc or vanilla+coffee hot, but i'm not a huge fan.

welcome, you have done the right thing in starting this diet and also finding this site. It has been the best part of this diet that we can come on here and get motivated, inspired, support and give the same in return. Try all the shakes, soup and flapjacks, they are all worth having a try of, as we all have different tastes.
I weigh in on a monday also so will keep a look out for your post when you weigh in, not long now. As you can see from my signature I started at 20 stone 5lb and now 7 weeks on I am 17 stone 5lb, so exactly 3 stone in that short length of time. I am looking to lose 8 - 9 stone in total also, so there are a few of us on here with that to lose. Keep coming on here, even if you don't post initially but it does help to keep you focussed.

Welcome and you have made a very important decision firstly by starting LT. If you do the program 100% you wont be disappointed at all.

This is no picnic but it is worth all the effort you put into it. YOu will see results that you wouldn't ever imagine you would see...think it can only happen to others, but it will happen to you too!

My tip is NEVER take your eye off the ball, as it is all too easy to slip up! Keep remember WHY you are doing this and through the hard times just remember THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY! You will again one day eat, but will have learnt so many lessons that you wont get into the same frame of mind regarding food.

And, come on here for inspiration, help, just to say hi, etc.....let this forum be part of your journey as it makes it so much easier.

And lastly, try and enjoy your new way of life..dont moan, just accept it for now and be positive.

Looking forward to seeing how you are doing.
